He is just a head shorter in that fight but by the looks of this chart, his face should be around Pickels lower chest level. The reverse goes with Musashi, who gets dwarfed by him in the drawing but is actually just 2-3 inches shorter.

Him feeling much taller than that is due to the typical inconsistency of manga artists, who try to justify it by saying that they want to make the character more intimidating or the scene more "intense". Another example is Hokuto no Ken, there's Jagi, whose official height is 178 cm. There's a scene where he's holding a kid by his neck, and the brother is begging him to put him down. The kid doesn't even come to Jagi's kneecaps.
