A small time thief and pickpocket (Raja - Uttam Kumar) gets out of jail with plans to up his game to become a big time criminal. With his friend and partner in crime (Anup Kumar - Bhola) they set out to do just that. But fate intervenes in the form of a woman (Mala - Sabitri Chatterjee) and a benevolent business man (Mr. Kar - Chhabi Biswas) and Raja's outlook on life slowly begins to evolve.

এই ছবির সবচেয়ে আকর্ষণীয় ডায়লগ যেটা আমাকে মুগ্ধ করেছে সেটা সাবিত্রীর মুখে, "জীবনে কত গিফট ফিরিয়ে দিয়েছি , কিন্তু আজ হাত বাড়িয়ে দিচ্ছি , দাও আংটিটা পরিয়ে দাও।" এছাড়া ছবি বিশ্বাসের সংলাপ যেটা ছায়া দেবীকে বলেছেন।
আহ এ যগে কত টাকা খরচ করে কত ছবি হচ্ছে কিন্তু এমন একটা ছবির অনন্য বলে একটাও হচ্ছে না। ❤️❤️❤️
অদ্ধ সমাপ্ত ছবি । হেলেনের নাচ গানের সিনের পরপরই উত্তম সাবিত্রীর প্রেমের সিন দেখানোর মাঝে বেশ কিছু অংশ বাদ গেছে ।
