Have the same bike lol just different engine it's a tecumseh 2hp pulled it out of the trash it had everything on it too. It's a restoration project now for my brother
Got a frame just like it I found in our barn under a bunch of bikes and me and my dad built it while in lockdown put a 6.5 hp motor on and is super fun
I have the same exact motor. Was just wondering how you guys got the throttle to work with it. I can’t quite get it. There seems to be like 2 levers. I think one is the throttle and the other is the speed limiter. Also where did you get the carb rebuild kit from. I think mine is doing the same thing. It dies off once I pull the throttle to full throttle
What kind of carb did you put on after you hot rid of the first one? Mine has the same 2 lever setup and I didn't think I could make it into a minibike motor. Think it's around the same model as yours
There are 2 styles of carb for these. The older ones have an adjustable jet and a pull choke on the back. The newer style carbs are not adjustable and use a butterfly choke. The gas tanks are not interchangeable between the two carbs, so you need the gas tank + carb off of an older Briggs. Also the lower gas tank bracket doesn't bolt up on the newer style blocks.
I'm not gonna give the one I go to, but try metal recycling/places that take any scrap metal. I recommend calling and asking if they have anything or ask if you can look around. A lot of places don't let you do that sort of thing.
Also I've only ever found this one mini bike frame all 10 years I've been going out to this yard. Engines are easier to find because they come on tillers/wood chippers/etc. I've seen a couple go kart frames but they're usually beat beyond repair or mangled from the claw they use to unload stuff
Hey there next time you use anything on a gasket use form a gasket looks like tar or baby s*** that's really good to resist fuel transmission fluid kerosene silicone is not really good for resisting fuel
What a cool smart kid ! The kid behind the camera is pretty awesome too! Great job guys!
Nice work, I used to have one just like that in Highschool. I'm currently building one with my son. I hope he enjoys it as much as I did.

Right on that's awesome!
Great video
Looks like fun
Thank you for sharing
At 7:45 the bike starts self cleaning.... Lol 😁
You call that a knife? Nice one👍
That air filter looked fine just had some rocks on it, good build though
Really great work guys super cool content awesome work
Thank you! We've got a couple cool new projects we hope to get out soon!
Damn!! That's not a knife lmao.
Cool find man.
Another thing, you should put the straight pipe from the parts engine on there.
I did back in the day but it's not good for a mini bike because its extremely easy to burn your leg on. Not fun.
Buy a old-fashioned whistle choke carburetor for it
Good job!
Excellent huge fan of you guys thinking bout building one got no parts would u guys send me some

I got the carb kit from a local lawn mower shop. You can get the rebuild kits on Amazon though! The throttle kit is available on ombwarehouse.com

Have you identified that frame? Is it a bird?oh i see it in the description.
How do you get the back screw out of the carburetor mine is hidden by the carburetor
Hope you change the oil in the damn thing and clean the spark plug or put a new one in
The oil in it was actually fine, we forgot to show checking the oil. And the spark plugs is fine for now.
I have the same frame lol
Don't have a razor blade, just use a Bowie knife. Nice.
Tools of the trade😎
I have the same engine and when I opened the air filter there was 100s of huntsman spiders
(I need a knife) 2 seconds later pulls out a Bowie knife
Hi everyone, I like mini bikes that are so cool. Can anyone of you name the song from 9:35 thanks?
I see you got a whistle choke carburetor on that old engine why won't it fit
Man I want to know how to find these junkyards that have go karts, mini bikes, lawn mowers etc plz someone tell me how to find these
My hometown has a salvage yard. It's all luck. You'd be surprised what people throw out.
hondayamahafan any special names for these yards I love in Houston and only have car junkyards near me

hondayamahafan thanks for the tip. I will try that. Sweet bike u got

Buenicimo
Brakes?
It's got a scrub brake

Wanna sell the minibike without the motor?
No thanks, we're gonna hang onto it.
