Thanks for the video! I do not care what you call your videos because I just enjoy seeing you turn a log into boards. Every log has it's own defects and grain; you never know what you are going to get. I used to watch one guy slab wood and then pour water on it. He would get so excited over the color and grain. I think he made tables. It is always good to see you and your friends working in the mill. 🤠🤠🤠😎
I was in my 70's when I had my eye surgery here in the UK, for free, the best take away.. took two days after each eye to see... the sky was blue again. Oh and sun glasses... the world will be so bright!!
My cataract surgery a few months ago went very smoothly, was painless. I actually slept through both procedures, which were a week apart. Was driving the next day, both times. I still have to wear sunglasses when outside, the sun is still too bright for me compared to before. But oh the sharpness, and the vibrant colors. You will love it. Was nearsighted all my life, been wearing glasses for over 60 years. Now, I only need readers.

I had cataract surgery if you have it done by laser you’re fine. Five hours later you just don’t wanna get dust in it for the next few days.. but if you haven’t done by the old method, it can take a week before you better. I had one done the old way and the other done by laser. I wish it was done both the same way with laser.. you’re gonna be so happy you’re having this done you won’t believe how well you can see. Had Cataract surgery on both eyes about a year ago. Was the best thing I ever did. I'm 80, was near sighted and wore glasses since age 11. Now no glasses - only for reading. Hope you have the kind of results I got.

Double cataract surgery here with the distance lens insert. Only need readers now which i was already using. The seemingly endless drops and safety cover at night are minor inconveniences. Vision was great walking out of the surgery center. Best of luck to you.
I have had surgeries on my eyes 3 times and one touch up with a laser. 20/20 and bright and clear results. The only issue post surgery has been dry eyes. Make sure you use the various drops they give you following the surgery. You should be pretty much on the mend after 3 days. Don't lift anything. Relax and enjoy the downtime. Blessings.

Mark, I wouldn’t sweat the cataract surgery. I’ve had both eyes done. I also had a left eye attachment of the retina not once but twice in the left eye. You’ll be back to work very quickly. In fact, I don’t think I missed maybe one day of work. But it’s so amazing and the clarity of what you can see after the surgery is done. And the surgery didn’t take more than 3540 minutes.
But I'm already watching your older videos. LOL Good luck with your eye surgery. Do EXACTLY what the doctor says. My Best Friend went through that. He had a couple problems but time they got through he didn't even wear glasses. He had a great doctor.
Nice work gents. Had the surgery, have been happy ever since that I did. The Doc made one small error on my left that left me with minimally limited peripheral, but I'm still very pleased with my outcome.
Nice snack or snacks. Each 1x is like a snack if the log is a meal. It is like snacking on a turkey as it cooks. Best hopes for the eye work. It should be easy with almost instant results, but don't rush it. Take a couple of weeks to let the glue set. And, don't be surprised if the doctor said, 'next victim' when he finished - probably did 10 eyes that day.
I had cateract surgery last thursday - hopefully yours goes like mine and youll be up and running again the next day - mine was painless and went very well.
Ive been enjoying your channel for several years. Back in May I came up from Texas to visit family and we went to the Pike show and I took videos of the sawmill loperation and I noticed I caught you walking around with your Go-Pro camera.
Good luck with your eye surgery. I had that done several years ago. It is just a little annoyance for a while. Dr did one eye and then two weeks later did the other one. You will be amazed how much better you will be able to see.
Good luck with your surgery; the hardest part for me was getting used to how bright sunlight is; depending on the procedure you'll probably be laid up about 3 or 4 days
Ole "Chewy" has a really good grip or hold on the log while turning. Seems that mine will spin a lot. Nice sawing of the big square. Hope you have a successful procedure this week.
It has been a year since my cataract surgery, all is well. The whole thing took less than an hour and the next I was seeing great out of 1 eye, 2 weeks later the other eye went just as quick. You will need new glasses when all done. Good luck. Ray
