      No worries, man. Making mistakes then acknowledging them is how learning happens. I am very much a beginner in Tai Chi (3 months at a Shaolin School in America). These videos are great and inspiring. Keep on practicing and I will too! Peace.

    Nice and beautiful Wudang routine I must learn this one!!! Btw. the difference between apprentice and master was quite obvious. Thanks for the video! I'm learning Chen style but I've definitely changed my opinion on Wudang way of wu-shu!

    It is so cool to see a western person to practice Taichi. I practice Bagua. Then I nomally will train in a mixed way, like some Chinese way, also some western way. I do standing qigong and some push-ups.

    Excellent video as always George. Can you do a comparison of Yang Tai Chi and Wudang Tai Chi? I once learned Yang 108 form and would like to restart my tai chi practice. I know Yang also has a 24 form practice. Is there a longer Wudang practice? Thanks again.

    Great video! I envy you for your stabilty while kicking - the one legged stances make me feel wobbly. But there is one thing we seem to share: when facing away from my teacher, I often tend to do the motions faster than my teacher. At some points the same thing happened to you during this video.
    Hope you will manage to squeeze in some time for practicing the form when your buisy work schedule starts!

      my balance has improved a lot - I now stand on one leg when chatting with friends or waiting for the bus ;)yes, I definitely was going too fast in this one!

    Hey George!
    Same name different country.
    How did you find the school? I am afraid that if I venture out in China I will be more lost then guided to the destination! I am very interrested in tai chi in general, but also chinese weaponry mastery but also the culture and language.
    So how did you find it, and do you know of more school that give the authentic experience, maybe with different style?

    • @mastergutaichi
      @mastergutaichi 5 років тому

      Here in WTA yes we mainly teach health keeping tai chi. But we have associated teachers to teach other styles.

  • @MichaelWebber

    Wow. With this video of your instructor you can keep working on your form in UK. That's really good luck that he was open to making you a video. Most instructors justifiably worry that potential students will think they can learn just by watching, but it takes both - following along to mimic, and watching and rewatching the video ad infinitum to make your mimicry perfect.

    Because people are naive and they see that Wudang is like that
    (a circus) Unfortunately to say the ones that go on holidays up there become masters and those who went for non holidays become quiet .

      Randomly0deliberate As a legal institution, our school helps student extend visa if needed. Price Depends on which country. For Students from UK an extension for one to three months cost around 200 ¥
