Because Fever was actually in first place on the ladder when this game begun. Fever went straight from finals to grands while Vixens went through Semis.
@@FossaWind ok i guess i remembered wrong but i thought Vixen actually were on top and the minor premiers and thought the higher placed team get home games

@@soapfan No worries! I attended the game live but decided to rewatch it recently. But I think that’s what I remember anyways. Because I think the preliminary finals were played in Melbourne. Because in the Semi-Finals Fever won.
