Something that RadicalSoda forgot to talk about was the amiibo content.
You could dress Bayonetta as Fox, Link, Samus, Peach and Daisy, each with their own little details.
The jet in the last level gets replaced with the Arwing with the Fox outfit and you have little Arwings for guns that you can charge up.
In Samus' outfit your standard guns change to Samus' Arm Cannon, with the ability to charge shot, and Beast Within turns you into the Morph Ball.
The Link outfit lets you parry attacks similar to Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance.
The Peach and Daisy outfits change the Wicked Weaves from Madame Butterfly to Bowser.
Pretty nice additions to the gameplay if you want.
I like the Samus one best.

That's not a hot take, that's a very popular opinion, the Pixie cut looks gorgeous on her and most recognisable that way to many because of Smash.
Though I will say it has one crucial flaw, a huge part of her concept is supossed to be that her suit is made out of her hair, that works with 1 and 3 great with the Beehive and Braids respectively connecting from her head to her clothes, but 2's Pixie cup breaks theming with it being disconnected from her suit and body.
(So Where's her suit hair come from then, does this confirm Bayo doesn't Shave?.. Kinky. )
Other than that flaw it's a great design, though her going with a more mature take on her child self's Braids in 3 seems to be her new best design and a definitive one.
My least favorite. I prefer 3, but even 1 is alot better to me.
Take is colder than Nintendo after seeing UA-cam channels post music of their games.

Bayonetta is so good! I played the second on Wii U and by the time I tried playing the first one, I got the Switch game, so I beated there, can't say enough how good both are.
P.S: I loved the Wii U Gamepad. 😅

You should review the Devil May Cry series. The Switch port of DMC 3 has the style switching and weapon wheel that was originally a mod for the pc version. Makes the port so good.
