It's not a white industry its America industry the industry has been inclusive of others by a the control of a majority. Life does not work like go segregate yourself , do you own thing. Walmart beat out all the other stores because of capitalization of the market. life works by being included or having a share in mainstream economics.

Emmanuel Lubezki Morgenstern won an Oscar for cinematography , he's Mexican.
Alejandro González Iñárritu won for best director last year and this year, he's Mexican.
Don't say that people of color can't win or are never nominated. Take it up to the studios if you have an issue. People work hard for this films and they are pretty good. The movie I believe should have never been nominated was Steve jobs. The walk was way better. Straight of Compton was not that great but people love it cause it's NWA. We grew up with the music but I don't think it should be nominated because of that reason alone.

As a Puerto Rican who enjoys many forms of entertainment from black people, I say this with the most respect I can possibly manifest...you guys just make shit movies, also you are a minority in Hollywood so stop being shocked when you're not nominated for EVERYTHING you do. Other minorities get it way worse than you do in this business of entertainment. I would even say that you don't even get it bad, you're just the loudest when complaining.
He's does seem to understand movies have to be approved so the studios make money.
We would also like see blacks wear African clothing to these award ceremonies rather than these European wardrobe but of course we aren't trying to embrace our roots, we just want the white man to accept us!

Education 1.not a award issue its a industry issue.(ppl not mad about their effort in the competition, mad they can't sign for the competition) 2.minorities are doing their own thing. But need a World market. A small store can't compete with Walmart's(capitalization)
3.its Institution racism(if the owner of a company does not hire me cuz of my race. What can a racially do back to him. 4 the media make issues, Latinos complained (Eva longoria) Latino, Hispanic,spaniard, native American, can't be differentiated to audience. Latino/white is not a media story like Blk/white 5. Blks always complain The Sony hack showed Denzel limit in usage to appeal to int'nl market. Consider only blk's scene are cut out of movies, edited out of trailers, and taken off movie poster(Jon boyega) in certain markets. 6.make your own movies get better actors, scripts and roles are approved by a studio if a minorities write a movie it may not be approved or the studio will buy the script and change the content. Movies people make have to be approved by a studio. People can only make material the studio approves.

I usually find this goofy fool more of a millionaire clown. I have to retract some of my impression. Just a bit lets one another let's not make our own selves the joke, I hope with this it is possible to demand the respect and power we need and deserve, Oscars viewership was down gods of Egypt flopped, let your power speak for its self. Why is it all dark and looking like it was shot in a night club. If you want people to value our product in the same light as theirs, we got to make is classy. Hope next year is much more professional than this.
