We create a biotope - explained by landscaper Ulrich Küneke

The Max Planck Institute for Biophysical Chemistry in Göttingen is the first institute of the Max Planck Society to design a biotope on its premises. This is our way of counteracting species extinction and increasing biodiversity on our grounds. Landscape planner Ulrich Küneke from the planning office Wette + Küneke (www.wgk-planun...) explains the idea behind the BioDiversum and presents three of the measures: a renaturalized central area, the flowering meadows, and the pond.
