That is such a good cake. My mother's sister made this when my dad died in 2011 and our whole family loved it so much. It was so kind of my Aunt to have made that special cake and brought it so far for us. She gave me her recipe and I made it for our Sunday School Christmas party. One of the ladies who was there made such a big todo over how much fat was in that cake with the oil and the whole container of frosting that I have never made it again since it did not get the same reception as my Aunt's cake did. I still have the recipe card from my Aunt, she wrote it down in her own beautiful handwriting for me and that is a treasure to me now that she has passed on too. Thank you for the video.

I would Love to have one of the kitchen scarfs. I wish I knew someone who makes them. That cake looks so Good. I have actually made them with different flavors of cake mixes and add a can of frosting that is the same as the cake. A lady at our church taught me how to do those. I love the shelf behind your stove but I have noticed several backdrops and different counters in your videos. Did you move your stove and above shelf to another location in your kitchen? Are the counters that look like wood made of mica or flooring material as I have never seen this type of counter material before. Thanks for the video!
I followed the directions exactly and even watched the video again but my cake stuck to the well-sprayed pan and fell apart after it cooled. Did not turn out like a pound cake.
Rose, I’m just watching this video and saw your comment. In my 71 years I have found that when I grease my bundt pan with Crisco, being sure to do all the little creases real good, then I flour it also. After it comes out of the oven, I put the timer on for 20 minutes. Then I can dump it out. I can’t tell you how many times before I greased and floured my pan, that my cake would stick. A lot of people use the Baker’s Joy and have great results but I just trust the other way better. Hope this helps.

You can do whatever kind you want. Cream cheese might be a good one.
