- Today I am going to show you how to clean stainless steel handrails by a Pool. This is a fast and easy way to remove rust, dirt and grime.
I am using barskeeper friend and a non scratch scrubbing pad. Both can be found on Amazon, also linked below.

Good work. Without a protective fluid layer, the stain quickly returns. Apply a coating of automotive wax as soon as it's been cleaned and dried. I use Turtlewax brand from Walmart.

Hi there. I tried what you suggested and it worked fantastic on our balcony stainless handrails. The only problem is after a single rain the rust stains are returning. Is there something that I could apply afterwards to prevent the rust from returning? At this rate I would need to clean them weekly.

What was the scrub pad used. What to look for?
It is a scotch pad
Do you put any type of sealant or protective coating on after cleaning or just let it ride until the next scrub?
Typically just let it ride. It stays good for the whole year

When you rinse off the BarKeepers liquid into the pool water is that okay?
Yes, it's not enough to mess up the pool water chemistry
