"And it's a masterpiece - how do you like _my_ work?"
Burn. 😎
For some reason I just read that in the voice of Grand Admiral Thrawn.
i do
This episode shows that if you try to battle Casey Novak on an intellectual level that not only will you lose, you will lose very badly.
@@billcox8870 yep
Big burn..
“This isn’t right, it’s not fair!” says the serial killer.. 🙄
@@mahadhosh6400 No, he got what he deserved
Serial killers or for that matter, any killer are ultimate malignant narcissists so it makes perfect sense
@@mahadhosh6400This is why you always read the fine print!
There will be an audacity, there will be people who can say that.
The look of horror on his face is so satisfying. And the best part is he wouldn't be able to easily kill himself in Florence. He'd never have access to any sort of rope or sharp object. If he starved himself they'd force a feeding tube down his throat. He'd be spending decades living his absolute nightmare.
I'm guessing his walls will be padded so he won't bash his head to death.
Lmao Ted Kaczynski managed to kill himself easily enough
Novak was always very passionate about her work. She is my favorite ADA, specially cause she's SO sassy.
"And it's a masterpiece"
Amen she was
My favorite is Barba, but she comes right after him.
That’s where Ted Bundy and the nightstalker should’ve been placed
@@Nicamon Same, Barba was a genius. For me though I put Novak and Cabot on the same level. And I kinda liked where Cabot ended up not alot of insight what ever happened to Novak.
I love Novak. Cabot is my #1, but Novak is just as good and really distinguished herself from
Cabot as an ADA. That was what I liked most about her.
"You set me up!" nah what she did was technically legal
He got exactly what he wanted.
He said he wanted to transfer, he didn't say where. :)
BWF
@@mahadhosh6400 you're wrong bozo
A legal setup is still a setup, and she set him up ... legally, and masterfully.
@@LukeSawardMusic I'm going out on a limb and assuming the comment you're responding to has been deleted? Do you remember the gist of what it said?
Again, outstanding acting. Just a 5 minute clip just pulls you in. The actor playing Robert is superb.
Jared Harris.
@@andycalimara He's always great! And this is so different from other stuff I've seen him in.
Jared Harris is the son of the legendary Richard Harris (who played the original Dumbledore).
@@matthewmattingly2011 So instead of the legendary Richard Harris, we got Michael “DID YA PUT YA NAME IN THE GOBLET OF FIRE?!” Gambon?
Shame...
@@JamesSamson487 Richard Harris died, that's why.
Casey was so brilliant. That last scene truly was a masterpiece
Morton: “you’ve beaten me at my own game.”
Novak: “don’t flatter yourself. You were never even a player.”
A prime example of how specific you should make certain requests or arrangements 🙃
The look on his face when she informs him that his heading to super max was priceless..
"And its a masterpiece... How do you like my work" Casey Novak the best ADA in SVU. PERIOD.
“It’s a Masterpiece!”
🤎CASEYNOVAK
This was Novak's finest hour. Loved it!
I love Cabot and Novak but this scene right here shows why Novak takes the cake for me and was the best ADA the show ever had. Seasons 1-12 of SVU were the best and I miss seeing that cast together.
Florence SuperMax is designed to break you. Well played!
Novak: HOW DO YOU LIKE MY WORK”
Me: YOOOOO 💯
I've honestly never had an issue with any ADA on SVU. They all bring a certain something that elevates the show in their own way.
Also Jared Harris kills EVERY ROLE he plays.
I love Watching them Law&Order SVU Episodes .
one of my fav moments, she got his butt! Jared Harris is so underrated
Thanks for including the season and episode in the description.
Similar to what Stone did in original Law and Order when he gave immunity to the perp from prosecution in New York COUNTY, which is only Manhattan, while he was then charged for crimes he did in other boroughs of the city
4:29 At that moment, he knew he f***ed up
Edit: ua-cam.com/users/shorts6fcQ-lmPqPQ?si=7sumEHn4vEtUp7CR
I watched this the other day, it was so satisfying
MAANN that guy got a sentence worse than death. GOO Novak
LOVE Jared Harris, great actor, so much presence.
Jared Harris is so versatile. He's been great in so many movies.
I've never understood the love and loyalty that men like Robert Morten generate in women.
I absolutely love this scene, which is one of my favorite on the show. Casey really played him like a fiddle and gave a perfect line as a parting shot.
Her character was my favorite ADA and the reason I loved her seasons ❤️
I've always hated that Novak vanished again without a trace in season 13. She just left the show and they never explained why.
She says she got mistreated by the cast and crew.
You ever hear someone say, "I'll cut your n*ts off." in a movie, but they don't actually do it? Novak did it without saying she'd do it. This is one of her finest moments.
Gallery: "We love you Robert"
Judge: "And that's why I'm throwing you lot out."
Jared Harris with an (almost) American accent throws me off so much, but he’s a brilliant actor and I love him
Love the actor, never the character.
You mean King George the VI was a serial killer Elizabeth would be upset
What about Vera’s Brenda Blethyn as that abused housewife hiding from the law all those years?Linnie Malcom?
@@wintersnow4413 I'm not familiar with her work as I've known in Harris' career more. I'm sure she's brilliant too
Novak has always been my favorite
Novak is my favorite SUV’s ADA. Her, Cabot and Barba are amazing.
They say the punishment should fit the crime, I say the punishment should fit the personality. In this case The killers personality cannot drive without sycophants to manipulate. Hence Alex’s masterpiece of a deal.
If Robert Morten had been really smart, he would have specified the federal prison to which he wanted to be transferred. By failing to specify a particular prison, he set himself up for a SuperMax.
I love it when it ends like this
The brutal coldness in her voice was beautiful.
jared is just so good at playing bad
Shannon Woodard (The defendant) needs more work. She killed it in this scene.
Casey Novak my favorite ADA idc
Casey Novak - my FAVORITE ADA ‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️
"Porcelain skin....i should've brought my sketchbook"
Her and Alex Cabot are my Favorite ADA's
*And people think eccentric artists on DeviantArt are screwed up in the head.*
I love Barba, but this is by far my favorite ADA scene.
I Miss Novak 😥
Cabot and Novak were the best lawyers on the show. I liked barba too.
Regarding Cecelia and Robert's fans, all I can say is, "Oh, brother."
Damn this show be so lit
Diane Neal is as superb here as she is on NCIS as CG aux commander..yes~!~!~!~!
Novak was the best and this episode pissed me off, her final move was so satisfying
Svu seasons 1-12 are the best, I just couldn’t watch the show after Elliot left😢
@Anabelle Doll completely agree
Why did Elliot leave exactly
It's like...a difference between him playing checkers and Casey Novak playing Chess......
And in a chess match during cross examination, she nailed his behind to the wall......
And so in the end, it merits him to the Supermax Federal Prison in Florence, Colorado
There's an old Italian and American expression says:
Revenge is a dish, best served cold..🤨💎❄️❄️💎...
Especially on a witness stand.....
And yes, it's masterpiece alright!
I was never more confused by the title until I watched the video. I thought, for a split second, Casey would kill everyone a la Kill Bill.
Casey was my favorite ADA bring her back please :(((
Who would have known that this serial killer had saved millions thanks to his leadership at Chernobyl
I love it so much😍😍
The actor who played the serial killer is really good. He should play another character who got beat at his own game. What was his name? Starts with an M.
That’s Jared Harris. Don’t know him? His dad was the first Dumbledore on film.
Nice job Ms. Novak. ❤❤❤
ADX Florence Super max. One of a kind prison, for the worst of the worst. Two people that are there now, Terry L. Nichols and Dzhokhar A. Tsarnaev (Boston Bomber)
I wonder how much of this went exactly as Casey predicted.😏😏😏
Novak looked especially stunning here, and her performance was so good that none of the main cast was needed. She owned this episode to the Tee!
Omg it was a reference to the show oz he was on. So she's basically saying he was going back to OZ. OMG. I GET IT!! LOL
He was in The Crown! He was King George VI
2:40 Ooh, I don't know, Mr. Morten, I think your words are not being taken well by one of your disciples.
The guy got checkmate by Robert Downey Jr and fallen from a waterfall. He's not that smart if casey novak out played him. You know Robert Downey Jr level intelligents its way beyond this guy.
Oh my gosh I had no idea they got Jared Harris
Some people can be charismatic in the worst possible way and are too dangerous to be in or have contact in society.
Damn. After getting blown up by Clarence, Robert's appearance sure did change
I wish I could see the whole episode!!!??? Plz, put on!🙏🙏🙏
It's on Amazon Prime. But only until Dec. 29
i always liked novack and what she did to that freak no more fans no more adulation savage and brilliant
Yep
The defendant looks so much like Katy Stoll I needed to go down a whole imdb rabbit hole to double and triple check that this wasn't one of the comedian's early roles. Turns out it's Cecilia Strayer, but can someone confirm that the resemblance isn't just me?
Casey was on of the best. I love this scene so much
Malicious Compliance rules! Especially when it's perfectly legal!
BWF
I see Moriarty has taken on a new line of work.
Well considering who the criminals at the Fed max they sent him too are 😂😂
He looks so much like his father.
I would've loved Novak to shout in front of his fans that him he is going to a federal prison Florence supermax that he will be lockdown for 23 hours no contact no phone or visitors for his test of his life
@2:45 to 3:38- Why being in a cult, of any type, is NOT a good idea.
sad part is there are people out there actually like this, that worship murderers and psychos.
Why would any of them do so in the very first place? 🤨
Are they all mentally ill with love issues, too?
My favorite will always be Alex Cabot, then Barba.
Professor Moriarty's great grandson.
Casey Novak was such a hottie.
🙂 How do you like 'my' work?
i miss casey so f much
She called checkmate in the most meticulous way possible.... ADX Florence is no joke😬
From assaulting a male stripper in season 3 to becoming a top ADA. What an inspiration.
Lmao you know she played 2 different characters right??
@@Risingofthephoenix Nah, I think she learned her lesson at Rikers and fudged her work history on her application.
Ha ha someone else that noticed she played 2 parts
I noticed when the previous episode came up as a rerun. I was like "wait! Novak?!?!?"
@@Risingofthephoenix woooosh
I know everyone loves Barba, but I’d say Novak is my favorite ADA
Periodt me too! 💯
Barba and Novak were my favorites! They’re incredible at their jobs!
@Studyo Gangsta Barba is a male, actually he is the first male regular ADA, debuting in season 14 and leave in season 19, dude have class, but he is overrated asf.
She, Barba, McCoy, and the Stones were my favorites equally for different reasons.
Alexandra Cabot was my favorite
Novak features in the clip and her name is on the title
*Puts Olivia on the thumbail*
Seems legit
The person who owns this SVU UA-cam account is not okay
Yeah i was so confused at first
Clickbait, but in a good way.
@@sierrabackupuwu8485pretty sure it’s nbc and peacock that own and operate all of their shows’ official youtube channels
They did it as if we wouldn't click for anyone else
Random women: “We love you Robert!”
Me: GET👏BETTER👏IDOLS!
Yeah I don’t understand the attraction to this one 😂
They’re like the Ted Bundy groupie weirdos.
@@emmsmom1848 For some bizarre reason some serial killers have fangirls, maybe boys too. Tiny bit curious what psychiatrists have to say about that phenomenon, assuming they don't have some other mental disorder. I suppose a handful are actually just so stupid they only care about how a person looks, very strange whatever the case. But the main thing is to keep them from trying to slip in tools to prison or whatever.
@@EricLing64 there is no way in hell that someone being a fan of a serial killer does not have a mental disorder
From what I hear Jeffrey Dahmer also got fan mail and money from lonely female who thought he was cute. But never thought that he prefer the team. By the time he die he had $12,000. I don't know what became of the money after this.
She agreed to transfer him to a federal prison
He just wasnt specific about which one he wanted
That is exactly what I thought. Sucks for him. Next time be specific
AGREEEEE 👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿😁😁
@@foreverteamdamon Yeah like they were going to transfer him to some country club with tax cheats and other white collar criminals. Leavenworth was the best he could have hoped for. Casey put Morten where he belongs with the Unabomber, Terry Nichols (OKC co-conspirator), Eric Rudolph (Atlanta Olympics bomber) and all the other scum.
😏
@@mahadhosh6400 Still, he got served. He should have thought about everything in advance and be more pacific. Oh well...
We need a casey x alex x Rafael meetup I swear
Or just her comeback, I mean, it's been 9 or 8 years since her last appearance
yeah
Yes!!!
That would be great
You don't understand the things I'd do for that
Alex and Casey were always my favorite ADA. They were badass on their own and play well with the SVU but also take their stand when the SVU team is doing it wrong.
Wouldn't fly these days with Olivia XD. Since rewatching from Season 19 on Olivia's become more and more antagonistic. A bit upsetting when she want them to do what she wants and they push back they need her to give them the info they need to do what she wants.
Mine too.
these women were horrifyingly crazy over this man.
Ted Bundy had fan girls at every court appearance. When news broke that all his victims were Brunettes, they changed their hair. It's......very strange
@@alejandrobotero8725 😭😭😭😭 sad
@@alejandrobotero8725 ew wtf
There‘s even a name for women falling in lovek with killers/criminals, hybristophilia
People make fan edits of Jeffrey dahmer and ted Bundy so I’m not surprised
Cabot and Novak were the best ADA's of the series. Miss them
@@unfortunate_edwin reading isn't your strong suit, is it? Lol
AGREED
Agree one hundred percent! In my opinion they put every other ADA across the Law & Order universe to shame.
Imagine both of them tag teaming on the same case. They’d rarely lose.
And Barba too
Diane "Casey Novak" Neal - the reason why I only own seasons 5 to 9 of SVU.
she was on four other seasons ya know
She’s the reason why I even watched the show. I love her
Same here.
She was a “Female Rapist” 1 of 3 in an earlier season. When the show decided to make ADA Raul something... the show lost its edge.
I preferred Raul Esparza
The ones excited with Barba return... they need to see this women and Alex Cabot in action...
I like Barba, but Novak and Cabot are the OGs
I love Barba but there’s never been anyone that can touch Alex Cabot.
@@elizabethbowden1574 Alex Cabot always been my favourite
Cabot is my favorite. Barba is amazing but he can’t beat Cabot and Novak for me.
I've seen all 3 of them. My personal TOP 3 is:
1)Barba
2)Novak
3)Cabot
I love this woman so much! She's so badass, brave, bossy and passionate. just but can be compassionate as well. I love seeing this character development through the season's she was on. She'll always be my favorite ADA in this show.
Casey was the BEST! The show imo went downhill when she left just as much as it did when Stabler, Munch, Cragen, Huang and Warner left. The OG cast of SVU will always be the best.
She Is the best 👍
