As a lighter skinned woman myself I find it absolutely disgusting when a black man is colorist, I would never date a man who put down women for their skin tone and looks. Dark skinned woman are beautiful and their skin tone pops. Dark skinned woman go through so much and it's not fair. He had me feeling low about myself I walked around with my head down all the time cause he didn't want me speaking just saying hey to a man, I was called every name in the book, he told me I'm not sh** and that I would never be sh** in life, a man would never want me in life. We worked together he would physically abuse me in front of people even the manager knew but the manager kept saying how nice of a man he was and he would carry his gun around every where. A girl at the job was visually impaired couldn't see good I would take her to get food on lunch break come to find out he was cheating on me with her and the girl wanted to be best friends with me afterwards
