I am 65 and have paid into the system for over 50 years and yet when I had a filling repaired a half hour treatment cost me £320 no NHS available, private only. So with this in mind why are we still paying national insurance when the services we are paying for do not exist.
I've had huge problems getting a dentist since the plandemic - my tooth rots to this day and I cannot get treatment for a recent injury affecting my mouth. Shockingly poor. Save the NHS my eye! What are we now - a third-world country?
What's going on? In Japan we have an insurance-based health service. We pay 25% of the cost of treatment. My waiting time has been zero for emergencies and, maybe, 4 weeks for routine stuff. I had a basic bridge done for $200. Shame. The NHS saved my life once and that of my daughter, once. It didn't bankrupt me or my business (with its employees). Get a grip! Put the jewel back in the Crown.
In a system where the state heavily subsidies dentists training why can’t a minimum NHS commitment completion of training be implemented?
I have given up with the NHS for most things. My last visit to the dentist cost me £600 for an extraction which took 20mins.

Where are all of our concerned MP's??. It's speaks volumes about how much they don't give a shit about their constituents!!!!
Todo bless all the brave People.
Thank you, so much, Esther!
Another empty room when regarding health issues & joe public
I agree with the sentiments but too many words Esther imo. Best to be concise.
Your right, good points, just a terrible delivery by Esther, needs a few tips on public speaking, shame because it’s very important
Why is that dump always empty when there's a debate that is about issues that concern the public?
Always full when discussing their pay rises tho isn’t it

Sounds like we need the Japanese model, Mel.
I am on a 3 year waiting list to have teeth removed - been waiting 9 months already - another 2 years or so to go !
Correction - dentist and doctor were unobtainable during any of the lockdown and for some time thereafter
Awful woman.
Absolutely Steve, imagine campaigning for healthcare for the needy, ironically it makes me sick
Unless you can back up that statement it might be a good idea to say nothing in future.
What is this? Another MP who cares about people?
