hello. after having 450 perfumes, i am saying this : THIS MAN HAS THE BEST TASTE IN THE WHOLE UA-camR FRATERNITY. Yes, i am declaring this man, the best taste and nose person among all youtubers and content creaters on youtube, all reviewers of youtube.
@@FRD-HDD Would disagree, taste has its own place in the world, it shows so much about people choice. So yeah although someone will say its totally subjective, when you tried 90 per cent of fragrance worth in community and have your own direction is utter to say it matters to present it and argument it.
I wore The Afternoon of a Faun yesterday, and Seville a l’Aube is one of my favorites, too. One of the few I bought a back-up bottle of, and I’m glad I have it now! Thank you for a great video 😊.
Lovely to see Pia's Gilded perfume here, I enjoy the candle, I should try the perfume, it has 3 of my favourite notes, Frankincense, Carnation and Labdanum. We were colleagues in another life at Lush. She's lovely.
Hey. i am looking for something that smells like Denim Aftershave but lasts as well, I have tried Bogart Signature, One Man Show Gold edition, Jaguar for Men, Denim EDT cant find the frosted bottle. Any you know of?
I've been following your channel for quite some time now, and I've purchased a few bottles based on your recommendations. I already have the Guerlains on your list, but after watching this video, I couldn't resist ordering a full 120ml bottle of 1740 and a sample of Gilded Boujee Bougies. Now, I'm eagerly waiting for the mailman! 😂 On a side note, I'm beyond excited-I just managed to snag an OG release of Tom Ford Oud Minérale in a 250ml bottle. I absolutely *love* it, along with Noir Anthracite. Now, I'm on the hunt for a 250ml bottle of Tobacco Oud, unless you have a better recommendation? I already have Creed Royal Oud, so that one doesn’t count 😊
Please leave the names of the perfumes on for longer. They only appear for around 2 seconds. This is way too short. Check out other perfume reviewers videos. I do like the style of font you use and their style. Also I don’t have a single one of these perfumes so I love the fact you have chosen these. I’m now researching these on Fragrantica for future purchases! ❤️
I can totally relate to wearing a fragrance that elevates your mood and affects your personality throughout your day. For me that cologne is Bowling Green by Geoffrey Beene. After that it is Happy for men by Clinique, and Agua Brava by Antonio Puig. My sincere compliments for not mentioning compliments! It seems you care about fragrances for the best reasons. Thank you for elevating the world of fragrance content.
We share a crossover of likes and loves. But what I enjoy most on your channel Pep, and what I'm learning from you, is how to curate my fragrance collection. I'm slowly thinning through the ones I don't wear and replacing them carefully with intent. One thing I don't need is another Amber. lol Take Care

I think anyone thatvis new to Bleu de Chanel might have the same impression. I also came to it really late and realised how many subsequent releases now have a similar profile. I think when it came out, it would have been quite a well done, not too common freshie "dumb reach, that just smells good. So i think it's almost a victim of its own success, because it created a ubiquitous scent profile, and now we have many options in this genre.
@@TheScentinel thanks for the reply! What would you recommend for a good summer fragrance? I am just getting into fragrance and it has been a really fun journey. So far I just have BdC and Dior Fahrenheit and ck one but it’s a start haha
I am surprised you prefer Equipage Geranium to the OG version! Mind you, we don't know yet what the original is going to be like now - it has been reformulated recently due to lilial ban, so wants testing! Ok, it will be my effort number 5 to like Grimoireit starts off magical, but then I get overwhelmed with olibanum and can't get over it.
@@TheScentinel sometimes another person's view helps to see a fragrance from a different angle. Some of my most favourite perfumes are those disliked at first. Had Grimoire all day on a paper strip, and it's so much sweeter and less challenging than on my skin. I guess, that's the answer. 👌
Listening to you express your appreciation for your scents only cements my love for mine, either by a memory association or how they make me feel. Sotd Dzongkha, I just felt the need. On a recent vacation to Antalya, Turkey walking amongst the streets lined with orange trees in blossom made me want to wear Seville a l'aube, it does it so well. Impeccable top 10.
Holy moly Pep! I was gobsmacked to see Grimoire at numero uno, especially since after I wore Borneo my scent of the eve was this! Amazing list and glad you included Pistil as it’s phenomenal.
Seven years is a very long time! I checked my top ten and I haven't owned any of them that long (though I do think I sampled SMN Acqua di Cuba for the first time a good while ago).
Hi buddy any thoughts on the new Guerlain Vetiver Parfum ? Does it display any kind of characteristics of the original 80’s/90’s version which I’m craving. I have read mixed opinions that the new parfum is very similar to the original Vetiver EDT, or at least, that was the first impression. The opening is refreshingly bright and fresh then smoky ? Thanks
I wish i could tell you. I smelled the parfum for a minute in a store, and to me it seemed "darker" and less citrus. But i have no experience with vintage iterations. Sorry.
I also love Parfum d'empire ambre russe. I got Parfum d'empire acqua Di scandola lately. I love it. Smells like you came out of the ocean & didn't rince off the salt off your body. I want to get from them next Parfum d'empire Aziyade (for fall/winter).
I had the oldest version for some of time and must say its one for lovers of cumin other than those who expect fruity woody aromachemicals. Its very fizzy not so amber oriental spicy, so the opening is quite interesting to me.
Curious…why are you calling them perfumes? I’ve never heard a reviewer call them anything but fragrances, or scents etc. As a man, I would never say that I’m wearing a perfume
I'm a little confused. Perfume is a synonym for fragrance, scent, aroma etc I guess i call them perfumes because that's what they are. Why would you not say you are wearing perfume?
