Hey Brothers, I have the exact same van, even the same colour. It's been really good to me over the years with more than 250,000 miles(400,000 km where I come from) and I need to replace the rad. Now I know how and I really have to thank you for that! I'm in Canada, it might help a bit if you could tell me where you got the rad and how much(ballpark) it cost you. It seems like a better option than the wreckers which is pretty much where I'm headed. Cheers from this Vancouver Island fisherman.
What did y’all do about the position of the motor when trying to take off top motor mounts? When unbolted the motor falls backwards but y’all skipped that part in the video so I’m wondering
@@samedayautodetroit no like when I take out the final bolt of the top engine mounts (the big silver paddle ones that attach above the radiator) the engine lurches backwards towards the firewall every time. Nowadays I just use a ratchet strap to let it back slowly so it don’t bust through into my dash. I was wondering how y’all keep it stabilized and from slipping backwards.

I got the rad from autozone. it was 190 something. im glad i was able to help u get the job done. love the feedback i do this for the ppl.

@@Threels2thahead o ok put the car in N. U can use a pry bar to pull it forward. To slide one of the bolts into the dog bones.
