The great lakes are unbelievable. I'm from Ontario and we have a lot of world famous smallmouth lakes. Lake Simcoe georgian bay on lake Huron, lake erie and of course bay of quinte/lake ontario

Just have to think outside the box sometimes. The main lake is the way to go for the chunks. The current or river smallies eat more often because of burning more energy. But when the conditions are like they were the lake is the way to go.
