Very cool. My mother collected depression glass when I was a child. I collect Fire King (along with pyrex, some milk glass and glasbake). When I was a little girl I said the Royal Ruby Red was going to be my "china" because I loved it so much!
I have poured over research books on various items. Where it is interesting, I'd much prefer this method. Please continue! I'll look forward to your next one.
Just wanted to let you know Oneida did not take production of all glass over seas, my husband (and several family/friends) has worked at the Lancaster plant for years 😊😊
I still work at anchor hocking in Lancaster Ohio been open since 1905 but we no longer make colored glass we were still making pyrex but not sure we still do or not but colored glass is no longer made there
Very interesting topic, and helpful. I was introduced to Vaseline glass today as there was a lot on eBay for sale I almost bid on. I didn’t feel I knew enough about it, so I left it alone. Thanks for the info!
Thank you BOB! Love the information, BOB 101. Take care.
Lol more like B0B cliff notes but thank you.
Great information! I literally know nothing about glass and this was all very helpful!
I’m glad! There is a lot more glass to come.
Never seen this brand! I can see this being very informative. Thank you!

I feel that way about the Forest Green. I’ve not found any though but I do find a lot of the drink ware consistently.

I used to work at Phoenix Glass
Did you work for them when Anchor Hocking took it over in the 70s?
Are you familiar with the clear class anchor hocking bicentennial 1776 canisters and have any idea what they are worth ty
They are only worth about $10-15 each currently. If you hold them until 2026 the 250 year mark they may increase in value.
Karishma Kapoor!
Thank you!
I'm glad it was helpful!
