Shout out from northern Houston! Finally got the motivation from you to re do my back yard. My back yard has just been dirt for the past 3 years but I bought a tiller and brought the soil back to life and now is doing a miro clover and Texas wildflowers in my back yard.
Very good video Paul. I think the wardering (bud) will do fine in their new home. Like you, I don't pay too much attention to what zone others say a plant has to be in. It's worked out well for me here in Tucson, AZ. Maybe you have already done this and I just missed it, but please do a video on your summer watering routine I'm looking forward to your next video.
Those purple heart Jew plants are going to spread and fill in beautifully. Also, they will grow in sun or shade, I have some in full sun and some in full shade. Plus, they hardly ever need water, they can live off just the rain we get here in zone 9a Texas. They are awesome plants.
My favorite plant is the Purple Heart. I got a cutting from a plant my grandpa has and it exploded in size in about 6 months. That was a fantastic choice and will look great in that strip 👍
you can easily take cuttings of the purple heart plants if you wanted to propagate them faster. cut just below a knuckle where you will likely see root nubs and put them in a jar of water. i doubt you will need any rooting hormone or anything, just water would probably work. once a few inches of roots are on them, plant in the ground. of course make sure the plant you are taking the cutting from is looking healthy enough. :P looks beautiful Paul!
Man my Lowes only ever has garbage on clearance. Also always weird to me seeing people buying wandering jew. That stuff grows out of hand everywhere and you can just grab cuttings from all the overgrown stuff everywhere. Looks great though.
Yeah it’s super easy to propagate I honestly have been lazy and wanted a full jump start on the front curve of my bed. I’m going to go crazy propagating plants soon.
Hey my homedepot throws their plants in a small bin outside. Like free plants that have just finished blooming. I have no shame in this plant game. Go look 😂
I ate one of the pink tradescsntia flowers but I would not recommend as my mouth puckered, burned and I immediately started salivating and spit up a ton of saliva. Would not recommend! Probably poisonous! 😩
I’m sure they’ll be happy to see someone cared enough to make the sidewalk that nice for everyone to enjoy.
That’s the mission!!! Haha
Can’t wait to see how the purple dudes fill out that space! 😍
Bro-- you are absolutely killing it. This channel is the most fun gardening one on YT. Keep crushing it my dude, looking forward to more vids.
I'm glad I'm not the only dude creeping around Lowes rescue section on the daily.
I loved in the other video about this spot he said this might be city property with service lines... and then went at it with a pickaxe!!! Eff them!
You can break off pieces from the purplehert plant and just stick it in the ground and it will grow. It's a faster way to multiply your plants.
Love how you pack so much background plant info into your videos! 😊
That mulch looks really good. If I were walking through I'd be like 👀👀😍😍

I’ll water new plants every 3-4 days but everything else I don’t water at all. Hahaha! In the gulf coast we get decently consistent rains.

Another chill video. Preesh.
awesome video dude! I’d love to see a houseplant video!
I probably will do some house plant stuff during the winter! I deff have a few, nothing crazy though
Paul love the new plants. Everything is looking so good. I have been buying the clearance plants.
Thank you so much! That’s the moveeee!
The hell strip looks so good! I want to line my sidewalk with plants, if my HOA will let me😅
My favorite Lowe's clearance natives are their blanket flowers and uptick coreopsis! Bloom like crazy and tough as nails!
Yeah, I've been lurking but the straight species haven't hit the sale rack here yet.

Hella fire video bro 🔥
A Sunday Plantu! "Urth es ma plont"
What a happy video, I enjoyed a lot! I recently got some plants on sale as well and an Agapanthus too 😂😆😁
Great use of the purple heart. I'm in Texas zone 8 & mine grow back after winter. 👍🏻
That’s what I was thinking. It was odd when I saw the hardiness was zone 10-11 but that’s probably where it’ll never get set back to the roots
A lot of my plants I saved that where mostly dead and now flourishing 👍🏻 best way to go.
Yeah, I love the clearance section!
Looking good! Have you found any plants out at the Flea Markets ?
Great job, the hell strip looks awesome , I always enjoy your videos & look forward to each one.
Thank you so much, I’m glad you enjoy the content and really appreciate the support!
