Hey man ! I’ve been following you from like 2 years ago when this game first was announced. Back in 2022 I think lol
Well, I wouldn't say so, cause it's UE 5 and every experienced developer will tell you that it is extremely hard to make something that looks bad in Unreal Engine 5 even if you are only a semi-competent indie dev or solo dev enthusiast.
Also guns in the WOTH look incredibly detailed and they are also licensed i.e. it's real life guns.
Now this game is making me really anticipating for the release of the game and wanna pre-order it when they show the full trailer and release date, but i love how the developers are paying attention to detail and the ammunition especially you use is awesome. The animations especially when you spine shot a animal like the baboon for example but what tickles my fancy is the animals that kinda make way of the hunter and the COTW don't have, but people been wanting to have in one of the reservations is the elephants 😮, and the handguns that i can definitely recognize is the smith and wesson 500 4" barrel and the ruger GP100 Standard in 357 magnum.

@@billwalton4571 so does cotw and way of the hunter, so what's your point?
@@Jeff.3 the appearance looks very layered like it needs more layers so they are not noticed. The colours are off too. The elephant is too white from the suns reflection, its needs more colour detail, and the scenery is too red, not looking natural.

- Plenty of "white" elephants out there. Especially in that part of Africa. It's the result of them rolling in mud during the heat of the day, which then dries into a white colouration.

- Parts of the Kalahari (which seems to have been taken heavy inspiration from in UH) do in fact look like this. And it's not the uniform colour pallet of that map. It is only one four biomes, all of which are distinct from one another.
Impressive all around.
@6:21 man, it annoys me that they don't allign the sights correctly. He's going to shoot high! Granted, it will still land in the face of that tusker at that distance, but allign your sights like that at a hundred meters, and you're going to miss.

Ammo!!! Grain weights, bullet types! Oh my god the potential this game is showing with the advanced animations! I really hope this game doesn’t disappoint because this may be phenomenal.

I see many strange comments, attacking way of the hunter for example.
It is easy to be blind when you have high expectations for a game. I can see that. Not only me but many more think this looks arcady. And to beat the market
This game must be flawless or it will fail.
I think it will fail. I will try this out. Not hating on it. I am just worried about what I saw in trailer. Flashy stuff like detailed scopes does not take away the arcade feeling and bad animations. Maybe it will improve.

I’m curious if they’re going to treat heart/lung shots like The Hunter (and CotW) where they’re instant kills for rewards to be easier or if it’ll be more realistic where the animal will run a bit. Would love to have a hunting game where the heart shots on deer result in that mule kick and still have tracking on those shots. Another thing too with animations is as hard to see as it is the paralyzed animations I think would put that feeling in you of damn I don’t want to see that again and wait for that truly perfect shot
