I put a 10 inch double row light bar in the bumper similar to you. I have mine on a switch in the pod and sometimes that's all I use. Buy a decent light bar and skip the bulb games.
I have an 07' sportsman's 800. Do all three headlights take the 880 models?
The reason the leds seemed as bright in shop and the hids seemed brighter on the road is bc hid use the housing better and throw light further down the road. A HID light around 5-8kelvin is great bc it is a more white light and more natural and less fatiguing on the trails, and thats important when your hitting them fast for a long time, that being said the ballast do get Very hot sometimes.
Mmm yeah that's definitely it. I ran into that same thing with my first set of HIDs and first first LEDs. I guess I sort of forgot it along the way. A lot of the new LEDs seem to be almost as good with the thin material they stick the diodes on. The light ends up being pretty close to centered, almost replicating the halogens. And what they lake they make up for it with added brightness.
Polaris has LED light kits now, all newer Sportsman's come stock with them
can you tell me the name of the hand guards with mirrors? did you glue the mirrors or is that how they are? thanks

Hi Was just wondering the handguards you have are they stock
Nope, they're aftermarket. I've got a link for them in the video description now if you want to check them out.
Thanks there is so much out there, sadly a high percentage is CRAP
Indeed!
Nice to live in a place where you can ride a quad on pavement and not be thinking about flashing lights behind you . Where I live it's an around the block and get home deal , maybe 2 blocks .
Yeah I'm pretty lucky, especially in the off seasons!

Man you're up late , being in Wisconsin . Not sure if you guys are 2 or 3 hours ahead of us on the west coast . Man that machine is a beast , be careful on that bad boy now !
Newer headlights are better try them they have running lights
Why would you buy HID lights when today's LED's are better in every way???
Why would you watch the video and then ask that question?
@@SwankyCatProductions 😂 I didn't watch the video - I have no interest in HID lighting.
Sorry, they are not.
what type of led bar?
AK Off-road. Here's the video on it. ua-cam.com/video/UwNjRaMd_1k/v-deo.html
