- Installation video of an exhaust upgrade to the Devil Evolution exhaust system on my 2015 Honda Forza 300 (NSS300). I also provide a sound comparison between the factory and Devil Evolution exhaust systems.
*NOTE* - You may want to re-map the fuel/air mixture when changing the exhaust. I did not do this because I did not notice any difference in the performance after installing the Devil exhaust.

The Devil is a nicer tone, but maybe a little too loud for everyday use.

@Dom S - Yes, I really enjoyed that braap sound when I first installed it. But on long drives it's way too loud. I eventually sold it to a subscriber! and put the OEM back on Thanks for the comment!
All good and informative stuff for NSS300 owners.
Some older Forza's are getting a little scruffy now, so it would be useful if we had access to a video showing how to remove all the panels for the purpose of re-spraying or film wrapping?

Is it just me, or does the rear red side reflectors still have the plastic transit film on?
@Kevin Appleton - Haha, no that was tape I put on there to secure the mic cable. But I do know people who like to leave on the original protective tape on!

Do you get more power from the engine and do you have to make adjustments to the fuel injection?
Theoretically one should get additional power from a less restrictive exhaust, but I could be wrong on this point. I don't really feel much more power. I did not have to make any adjustments to the fuel injection, I don't feel or hear any difference in engine performance.
Stock exhaust have more power than aftermarket exhaust
Does this upgrade require a change to the fuel management system? It’s allowing more flow , in this case it may be running slightly lean without a change to the flow of fuel air mixture . Due to this being an electronic fuel injected engine, perhaps it recalibrates the mixture automatically?
@flyinphil42 - Yes, technically you are correct, one should check and re-map anytime making changes to the fuel or air. I did not re-map the fuel system because I did not feel much difference in the performance, so I assumed all is well. I should have addressed this point in this video. @@zooskifilms from what I can see is the aftermarket exhaust usually comes with a larger pipe. Do you notice any difference in performance?
@@flyinphil42 - Not much, but if anything it seemed peppier with the new exhaust. In the end I reverted back to the factory exhaust because my wife complained it sounded like a Harley🤣
so you just leave it exposed like that? no covers?

@garyteague9555 - Yeah, I eventually sold this exhaust. I needed to wear ear plugs after a while!
Does this exhaust lower the rpms
@Patrick - I assume you mean at idle? No change in rpm's that I noticed. I only viewed the tach on the Forza, no external measurement was taken. Cheers!

@Darren William Sweeney - just the small baffle that came with the exhaust, I tested with and without that baffle.
@zooskifilms cause normally like the little Yamaha peewee 50 they put restrictors in the header and carby
@@darrenwilliamsweeney865 - Ah, ok got it. There are none that I’m aware of, I didn’t see anything in the header. Not sure if they have something on the injector side.

@John Price - Yes, I agree. I went back to the OEM and sold the Devil to one of my subscribers. This exhaust is loud!
Factory exhaust is better for me!!!
Also your bike is smoking, that looks like a bad piston/rings!!!
@Chụkwụnwéiké Nmákwé - Haha, yes, I eventually put the factory exhaust back on because the wife and neighbors thought a Harley Davidson was rolling in and out of the neighborhood! Also, the engine is not smoking, just condensation burning off. We get this up in the northern part of the USA during the fall through spring seasons. I get this comment a bit on other videos as well. Thanks for watching!

IMO those loud exhaust mufflers are a public nuisance. I hate it when those blow by my BKK condo. Not polite. And no, there is NO research that says loud pipes save lives... says Autoweek "The conclusion of the study specifically says that the assumption “loud pipes save lives” is false. The driver of the car cannot hear a motorcycle if it is more than 33 feet behind the car, and as it gets closer than 33 feet to the car “even if the car driver hears you, it is too late to react safely."
@Grant G - I won't argue that point about safety. I bought this exhaust specifically for the sound. I like the sound of those 125cc's with headers blasting away when they pass my wife's home in Taphan Hin. After putting this exhaust on my Forza I realized it was too loud. It's one thing hearing them pass by the house and another thing when it's continuous for hours when riding. Anyway, I eventually sold this exhaust. Either you love it or you hate it. Cheers!
Just sounds different, not necessarily better, kinda sounds like putta putta, I guess if your main objective is to make more noise then you succeeded, or as I call it "how to piss off ya neighbours without really trying 🤷🏻♂️
