Having known, worked, interacted with Dr. Mwai during the UHC journey, piloting and policy development including pollicy and budget analysis and conducted public expenditure analysis, Kenya's health is in good hands.
It will be like our Education Sector good in Books but in practical zero

He has not explained what is the benefit of SHA as opposed to NHIF. Can't they just better NHIF then this expensive business of requiring additional data....I smell a BIG RAT

What company?
We missed out on the thorny issue regarding costing of the 'premiums' or deductions. Being built upon NHIF whose funds were siphoned out at every turn means that SHA may be looking to collect more than will ever be needed for health and, end up becoming another revenue authority for treasury.
Isn't that how health insurance works.. only that in the current set up your money won't be scrapped off after a year
