So we can tear this face, we can tear this face
The face of a desperate man, G yeah-man
So we can tear his face when him smokin' the endo
So we can tear this face, we can tear this face
The face of a desperate man, G yeah-man
So we can tear his face when him smokin' the endo

spice and AZ most under rated rappers :'(
I agree. Spice 1 spoke on that real shit and explained about the streets and violence in storytelling rhymes. AZ was dope as well. He raps with run-on sentences. He flows like a Neverending river. I liked his verse on Nas's Life's a Bitch.
respect hommie. i liked az's verse on that too.. along with How Ya livin'.. ft nas.
both sweet tracks
You forgot MC Ren.
Frankie Niagara I like MC Ren as well. He was a major contribute to the success of NWA. Songs like Mayday on the Frontline, Same ole Shit, Final Frontier were all great songs. Real dope !!!
this some real gangsta shit.they dont make music like this no more.
Spice 1 was big in certain parts of the south...we fucked with West Coast music more than East back in the day.
2020
Still bangin
Bless spice 1
True OG
One of the few clean versions of a song that are just as good, if not better, than the dirty version
fuck no, this version sucks.
+Ryan Allen HAhahaahaha!
another one is Geto Boys My Mind Playin Tricks On Me
i agree
I'm amazed at how creative Spice 1 had to be to do edited versions of his songs with having to bleep out lyrics.
One of the last Gangsta Rap Legends. Scarface, Willie D, Too Short, Bun B, Mc Ren, WC... anyone wanna add to the list of living legends?
C-Bo, MC Eiht, King T...and plenty more
+durtidee Dive by music? For swimmers?

Spice 1 is probably the top 5 rapper in the industry but has gone unappreciated due to the industry's fake promotion of a cartel of foul rappers
I agree. Rappers like Rich Homie Quan, Young Thug, Migos and Lil Wayne are garbage rappers. They ain't saying shit.Even T.I. has changed . I like the old T.I.
And fuck Nipsy Hustle a sherm head could of done his music, same old rubbish on repeat
Stefanos Makrides Come on man, cut him some slack, he's dead dude.

Yes that be dope

FYI for yall complaining about Spice's line about "sellin his soul to the devil". Spice 1 is a strong believer in the Lord. His mother testifies for him, he reads the bible quite often. The name of the song is "Face of a Desperate Man". A "desperate man" sells his soul. Spice is only role playing in the song as a "desperate man". His mother thought growing up Spice 1 could have been a pastor. He'd never sell his soul.
So Spice1 meant is as a figure of speech as opposed to literally meaning it?
Who gives a fuck anyways its not like the devil is real
Where u hear that man? I'm a big fan too and a baptist so where u hear that?
@694Grider
Manny Schlossberg I read it in an interview online a few years back. She said something about him carrying a bible with him a lot and reciting scriptures from it. Though this was back in the late 80's early 90's not sure about now. Ill try n find it, its been a while
People nowadays do not know how Dope spice was back in the day....
The most underrated rapper of all times
He was cold blooded..
A lot of rappers got their style from him. And don’t pay homage.
Still fire sir
He still is homie
Still living that 90s live..
30 years later and still crusing down the streets bumping this
This for. Me
This never gets old
He's Still one of the hardest rappers out here today Right Now
Now is 2021 and your statement still stands.
I absolutely totally agree with this straight FACT‼️
Criminally underrated. I know everything is subjective and yadda, yadda, yadda, but come on now. The work this brotha done put in over the years is indeed greatness. Just through and through. I understand what Mac Dre did for the Bay, but why not give Mr. Spice 1 his flowers while he's still alive. His influence is just as important. Most Bay Area artists done borrowed his tone and cadence. Now, the talent, soul and flavor...well... That's another story, but they've definitely borrowed his tone and cadence.
aww thanks.

Okay so THIS is this is the instrumental DJ mixed with ESG's Sailing the South on 3 in tha' Morning!
Raven Rogers yep....Dj screw was cold with the song blending
I've noticed that a lot of the samples used for Screws mixing came from spice 1's music. He does it justice though.
Banger right there

@@zyciowetematy8679 this album came out in 1994 and gta sa story runs in 1992
@@DhiaMedina Yes, most of the songs are from 1992. But not all of them, some songs its from 95,96 and 97

Real shyt bro. I was in East Oakland.. The wild wild west.. Amen that we still here
Why everyone keep saying fuck vevo? Spice 1 made this song around 94 or 95, way before vevo was invented. Mostly every 90's rapper did that because politicians or those with control wanted to take rap/hiphop off radio stations/tv because they were claiming its too vulgar/destructive and were doing everything they could to delete the rap culture but artists were smart enough to make clean versions to still get their point across about the struggles of the ghetto, racism, crooked politician and cops etc so there could be no complaints. Most 80's babies raised on 90's music like myself know and understood this and not bothered by the clean versions because we are used to hearing them on the radio first before it was released in stores in fact when the album finally made it to stores, you had the choice between clean and explicit right next to each other. I bought the clean version of this album by mistake it still sounds just as good as the explicit. Just open your mind...
The only place at that time to see unedited videos was The Box, if you brothers remember that
Yup I made a few calls...
FACTS.
i got some old videos check me out
100% TRUTH
it aint about how cuss words a record has its about the music and the message and the artist
The production on that album is on another level, starting with this one !
For me one of the best rapper from 90s
