Hey James, Ana, and Luna! James here from Michigan. Not too many years ago that boat was an amazing charter boat from some big charter company and after Rick did a couple episodes on it almost all info I found at that time on suddenly disappeared from the internet. Someone was trying to hide something about the owners. Just did some googling again and info popped up. I think a company called Vento Chartered it last and it was used from Columbia to San Blas. When you see the images online from not long ago its pretty sad see her condition now.
I remember joining that kickstart for your new boat. I have to say you found a good one! Congratulations I enjoy your channel and watch every new episode. As soon as it comes out, you rock James.
We Found An Abandoned Boat Drifting In The Ocean - the Crew Disappeared! yeah right,,first,,you didnt find it,second its not drifting its anchored, third, the crew from that boat is sipping margaritas probably and has not been missing at all just not onboard. so just a lame baitclick
Unless you plan on using all of the thixo in one shot next time don't use mixing spout. Just squirt out of tube onto a mixing plated and apply it by hand that way you can save the rest of unused portion of tube without locking up mixing spout.
The whole point to that product is to have no cleanup. Normally epoxy gets everywhere. I purchased a bunch of heads from TotalBoat, they aren't expensive.
Wow, so good to see your mom again... bet she's so excited to be a granny. My wife and I love you guys... from Adrian and Zivia all the way from Cape Town South Africa 🇿🇦 ❤
Older videos are good, it’s fun to see the things you find. There is a boat I recently made an offer on. Ocean 60 in St Lucia. I was able to get very detailed pictures, videos, history and it needs extensive work, electrical, plumbing, rigging, sails, steering, woodwork, etc, etc. I put together a full list and costs. I can get it up and sailing for about $60k. It could be a fun world cruiser. Owner asking $70k. I offered $27k, owner said Thanks but no thanks. If I put in $300k in repairs and upgrades it would be worth $350k. Glad the owner said no, now that I think back, the owner should pay a buyer to take it off their hands.
Wow, you make light of one hell of a lot of work. Good for you Mr engineer. Man, you have a lot of lithium power there. 600 amps of 24V. Very nice. And I hope all goes well I have installed a number of fridges and water makers. Last one was a Spectra. Worked well on 12V. Wish you luck my friend. You have quite an adventure going for you. I did term charters on my boat in the E Caribbean, San Blas, and Baja Mexico. Never did long nor serious passages on charter like you will be doing. Very cool! DADDY! Yeah!
CONGRATS ON BEIN A DAD!!!! Congrats on the new vessel, and I do NOT KNOW HOW I got to your channel?? BUT I JUST GOT DONE WATCHING THE RESCUE WITH THE FRENCH AND THE BROKEN MAST!! and I just realized my caps is sticking. lol so how long were you active in service? This leads to my curiosity and there’s a couple things I really want to know about! But I’ll pm you. Sorry patrons it’s sensitive classified info!!!
James, you have to be the hardest working NavET I've ever seen, ever. I never saw one do more than turn off the pencil sharpener or the electric eraser. ;^) you could be an honorary M div'er. [coming from a former nuke ELT, MM1(SS)]
Dang gum how many water makers are you gonna own in life time. Don't you still have atleast 2 over units stashed somewhere. Isnt one of them in Hawaii?
I fkn love that you have your mom onboard with you, your so awesome I just discovered your channel and your amazing content thanks for that, I've wanted to go offshore ever since working on an arctic ice breaker as well as a couple offshore drill rigs in Canada's arctic as well as a few seasons ín and around 0rudhoe bay and Barter island offshore in Alaska. Cannot afford to do any of that as I'm a disabled single dad now.
Excessive import duties protect local economies. Protectionism, policy of protecting domestic industries against foreign competition by means of tariffs, subsidies, import quotas, or other restrictions or handicaps placed on the imports of foreign competitors. These domestic industries greatly contribute to getting people elected. Unfortunately also helping to ensure the country remains a shit hole. Beautiful produce in many of these countries typically means the use of very harmful and unregulated pesticides. If the pesticides don't harm you, the water used to irrigate the produce will. Good Luck!
So glad to have found you again! You had dropped off my UA-cam radar for some reason. I always find some lesson worth learning from you. Sub navigator! Navy Corpsman assigned to the Marines for 18 years.
what gets me about all you skippers you know how to fix all . safety always 1st , look after the crew. la vag, delos, parlay , the wynns, never ever be afraid to keep on learning. the angry sea is unforgiving. so knowledge is the key , when to push and when to hold back. a very fine line that could end up in disaster.
Does this look like fun?? Come join us for an experience you'll never forget! sailingzingaro.com/
So the title should have been "We were told about an abandoned boat and were taken to see it".

Ahh I was trying to remember who showed that boat before.
😮
Nice find! We love rick, Maddy, and little Ritchie! :) Awesome people!
Which chanel are those episodes on? Interested in seeing it done proper.
@@nooneanybodyknows7912 thanks man. you the real MVP
Isn’t this the same boat that was in Captain Ricky’s vídeo some months ago?

Thanks, Cliff! I very much appreciate that, my brother!
Clickbait, this boat has been there years.

Clickbait? "You found a boat drifting in the ocean." Doesn't appear to be the case. More accurately you saw a semi-derelict boat at anchor.
Nice click bait. Getting a thumbs down for that one. By your logic, every boat at Moring is an abandoned boat with no crew.
The boat was not drifting in the ocean, the boat was at anchor.
Hey james , when wielding on your boat be careful of alternator and batterys, just making you aware mate , bolts are stronger anyway

Rick showed it last year, owners were already asking $50K lol
Now it's 60!! :)))

Just out of curiosity, a " metric ass work to do " Is bigger or smaller than an " Imperial ass work to do ?

That tool in the red box is a sweger. Or that’s what it looked like. And I’m sure I didn’t spell it correctly but I’m no spelling bee winner 😅
