Yes joining the UK army for Jamaicans isnt something like you guys joining the U.S. Army. Its not a sign up and go process, it like getting into Harvard. It's a great achievement. There are many things I don't understand about Kerry Ann Knight in this video. Here's my list:
1) She experienced racism from white men in the army, and then, despite her negative experiences with white men in the army, she decided to marry a white man.
2) Before joining the army, she probably knew that white supremacy and anti-black racism exists, and despite knowing that, she joined the British army to defend and fight for a white nation like Britain.
3) She's Jamaican, Britain has colonized and mistreated Jamaicans. So why did she join the army of the same nation who mistreated Jamaicans people like her? And why she was expecting that she would be treated with respect among the troops of the same people who practiced white supremacy against Jamaican people?
Her reasoning was silly and naive!
