Of all the art exhibitions i've ever visited over the world, a room full of minerals that was displayed in the Melbourne museum was by far the coolest thing I ever saw.

I stopped by the Hall of Gems and Minerals in NYC and OMG it was gorgeous! Seeing the massive Amethyst geode as you walk in, I was shocked at the size of it. I had also known about the Singing Stone from an article in National Geographic but seeing it was something else.

Strangely, the stone stopped singing several years ago. As psychic edgar Cayce researchers have subsequently discovered, the stone's silence coincided with a museum renovation.
The stone was removed from a prominent position in front of the gallery windows, where it stood in direct sunlight, and was placed in the back of the room, (away from the window) where it is bathed only in artificial light. Perhaps one day an enlightened curator will position the massive specimen back in the sunlight and it will sing again.

Tell your preferred version of invisible supernatural superbeeing that his other "great" imaginative and horrible creations suck.... starting with the way too narrow female birth canal causing millions of miscarriages and spontaneous natural abortions....why does your preferred version of invisible supernatural superbeeing love ending the life's of babies and mommies?
Cancer, Crohn's disease, Klinefelter syndrome or Proteus syndrome?
Parasitic wasps that lay there eggs in other species?
Also....most of the universe is empty and dangerous for humans? Why would your preferred version of invisible supernatural superbeeing construct a universe with radioactivity, black holes, supernovas and astroids.... threatening to our species...
Funny how you can sit there proclaiming minerals are a great thing.... intelligently designed by your preferred version of invisible supernatural superbeeing....but you have zero testable verifiable material EVIDENCE. Nothing but maybe (i assume) a certain translation over and over reedited holy book written by fishermen, camel riders and individuals that believed in witches, ghosts and earth being the center of the cosmos....that's the sources you trust I assume.

They changed it to another boring hall. I loved the layout of the original hall with its circular pits and steps and side passage, like something in a James Bond movie villain’s hideout.

I don't find proper labeling to be distracting, I do however find being offered only a letter, then having to look it up on a table below the display over and over and over again, to be very burdensome and exhausting. a VERY poor choice.
