Hi Rob, we really enjoy watching you're trainings. Do you have a online training video for setting up a SC strategy for ourselves? We sell online on Bol &Amazon. Thx Ar
Very explain topic. Order Extraction really breaks down the mission of any SC team and company at large. Please can you make a video on Zero inventory supply chain process.
I am in the Pharmaceuticals industry in Africa and we practice zero inventory but there are a lot of downsides to it because of the unstable economy which influences our prices every now and then.
This is a great learning session. There are a lots of people overlook on these basic which finally causing their failures in SCM. I am looking forward on your talks.
A bit late to the party. I just wanted to let you know that the bit about orders extraction really resonated well with me. It's a great analogy for how to distill down an abstract concept like a company vision.
There is no great science to KPIs. Measure the stuff that matters. Like.... pallets. cases tonnes per hour/day processed. Processed per labour hour. Cost per pallet/case etc. Units not processed each day...... Get the idea?
Without knowing a lot more about your business, product range, customer types and service. Not really. Sorry. I do this as a career and prefer not to guess 🙂
How many companies did you include in your survey (ref. Logistics Bureau Survey Results). Which country or countries did those company represent? Kindly advise. Cheers.
I am a double degree student, now I live and study in France. By the end of 2021 I will have two degrees in engineering one in automation from my home country school of engineering (EMI which is best engineering school in Morocco) and the second degree in supply chain and operation management from the French one (Centralesupelec in top three engineering schools in France). Legally speaking what are my chances to find a job in Australia considering my status. Is it complicated? doable? What is your advice for me to be able to do that?
Great Question, and quite a common one on my Blogs. The simple answer is that it's hard and you really need professional advice from a reputable immigration lawyer. There are basically 2 paths as I understand it. (1) apply for a working visa under the points system. This awards points for things like language, qualifications and so on, and extra points for skills that are in short supply in Australia. Like Doctors. (2) you need to get a company to sponsor you. But they need to prove that they can't fill the vacancy locally in Australia. Hard but not impossible. I have done it before. And before you ask! Sadly I don't have any vacancies currently.

Great topic. Strong believer in KPIs. Please recommend the top 5 KPI for a Cross Dock Operation and the methodology for measuring these indices.
