Is Nick Beggs telling the truth about why Limahl was fired from the band? I don't believe that is true.
I believe partly it is. They were young and had their own ideas and ambitions. Of course there is more than that. Big factor were differences in the direction of style they would like to go for. When you look at theirs later albums- Limahl and Kajagoogoo have gone completely different music directions.

I knew pretty much what you mentioned about music style and teste disagreement but I have hard time believe Limahl does not want to share $$ to other member, I never seen Limahl badmouth others and he choose right words to explained issue (well spoken man).
In the money subject you are correct. Until around 2007 it was actually Limahl who was not receiving fair share of royalties for Kajagoogoo sold records. But the agreement was finally signed and after nearly 30 years they reunited.
Limhahl had said that the band thought he was the pretty one and didn’t want the focus on him. Honestly I think Beggs wanted to sing and be in the spotlight but Beggs proved to be a better bass player. I’m glad they put aside their differences and got back together later because they were really all much better together
@and321now yes it was. He finally signed off for equal royalties share. And Nick, Steve, Stuart and Jez, helped him land his equal share. Paul Ryan ripped them all off, for taxes too. Except they didn’t hear about that until well after they had all disbanded. Many thousands in tax hadn’t been paid by Paul. Paul Ryan however passed away a few years ago. They were all ripped off, used, and taken for a mug by him as manager, which imploded the entire band. If that hadn’t happened there’s a good chance they would have lasted a lot longer because they were, and still are, talented musicians. However too much water under the bridge.
