That's the new one I ordered before I saw your video. I was hoping you would set it up and test it. My old one only had a 3 year warranty and it was bought in 2016. It was saying low battery, but new batteries did not shut it up. Is there a reset on it when you change batteries?
@@Rickmakes I have the newer model and it was chirping in the middle of the night so my dad went to change the battery but when he took it out it started going off.
mine is only 6 years old and chirping even after replacing the batteries. Anyone know why they have a 10 year warranty when they don't last that long anyhow?

Do you have to shut your power off in the house when replacing the battery?
Nope. You can change the battery while it is powered.

Good question. I'm not exact sure how their timer works. I'm guessing it only keeps track of when it was powered on but I could be wrong on that.
