When I was in HK, I met someone who was worth around $50 million and lived in the mid level. He said he felt poor versus the real rich people at the peak ..love for you to review Shanghai ..thanks
Love this video and you did a good job covering the outrageous HK properties and their prices. It is nice to see these exclusive ultra expensive homes that are for sale at the peak of the HK island.
I am a Hong Kong real estate investor from China. Right now, mainland investors are wary of real estate. Hong Kong real estate’s biggest risk that does not get talk about is the very near possibility that the HKD peg cannot be defended. I don’t even talk about whether my Hong Kong investment will go up or down. The HKD will certainly go down and we will likely start seeing repegs downward. So what a mainlander see when they buy a 20m HKD investment is really a 2.5m USD investment. Irrespective of how real estate price will go in the next 20 years, there is a tremendous risk that in USD, the property will lose its value
For 10 million dollars you can have one of the best houses in Brussels on Archimède street and one of the safest because it is right next to the European institutions .
First off! You are phenomenal! What a GREAT presentation! Succinct and factual! Most UA-cam real-estate presentation are complete BS! Next I knew HK was expensive but I knew very little about the Homes there---kind of knew about the Peak but this Really was an eye opener. Thank you for this!
Dear Jane, I wanted to thank you for your *Fantastic* videos, They are very *Useful* and *Informative* And I L💜VE them. You present subjects that are very *Unique* or are spoken very rarely.
22 baker road used to be the residence of the belgian consul general. My dada sold it in the name of the government. Belgium opened 5 embassy's across the world. We lived in it for 1 year before moving midlevels after the sale
another reason why land is expensive that she didn't mention is the government of hk only release slowly very few parcels or plots of land for tender in order to keep prices high, in order to obtain more revenue
Since you know well Shanghai, his secrets and beauties , most beautiful city in Asia , old architecture and modern ones, please do a video . Thanks . Chi Che
U sounded it cool when you spoke Chinese, explaining.. to live up there you need not only money but also the faith to handle living high. It is a whole philosophy of its own.
Great video Sara! When the Chinese billionaires come to America or anywhere else in the world to buy properties it's a bargain for them compare to what they can buy in H.K. Peak. They get a lot more bang for their buck that's for sure.
Hong Kong is a screwed up place. You need a high octane income just for a comfortable life, not luxurious, just confortable. I wish I had the money to get out of this hell.
I think you forgot to mention Brigitte Lin's mansion on Kowloon Peak near Fei Ngo Shan, it is worth a BILLION HONG KONG DOLLARS!!! I live very near it and was there to witness the tragedy when it caught on fire last month.
I lived in Hong Kong for four years. In Central. Queens Road Central. HK is my favorite city in Asia. Yes, it’s expensive for housing. Oddly enough though taxi fares are cheap. Great nightlife (before Covid!). Loved the Captains Bar in the Mandarin Oriental hotel. “Berlin” was my favorite waiter/server in that bar. Lan Kwai Fong is good too. Lots of expats would go there to drink and eat. I loved the bar “Insomnia”. Wan Chai is great too. More wild. I would usually start off in Lan Kwai Fong and end up in Wan Chai. Miss HK. Hopefully they can get their act together soon and reopen things again.
2 is my favorite. curious about interior. do you think it's possible to do interior videos some day? personally i would love to see videos as such of all the metropolitans of the world. Thanks for the great presentation Sara!
I would never want to live in H.K even if I had the money to spend due to all the horrible traffic and congestion with people just like in any big city in the world. Never!!
you right on why HK property is so expensive. The British made a lot of money from HK. This is why Jardine people is still the largest land owners in HK
“The greatness of a nation can be judged by how it treats its weakest member” I’ll be extremely embarrassed instead if I was that filthy rich by looking at how many people in Hong Kong couldn’t even get a Humanely decent home to live in. 🤦🏼
Very well made, informative and funny! Wondered a little bit where the Pink House ended up in the ranking since the sales price was actually the highest ever. But how to split the value of the Pink House and whatever else was included in the sale? :)
Why does your video list that house as 657 million while another video released at the same time list it as 446 million?? See video : Inside A $446 Million Hong Kong Mansion
For that amount of money you can buy much better properties in better locations, the people who buy those apartments is probably for status, either that or they got too much money and just need to spend it

Amazing video! Do Singapore next!
I lived in Sai Kung for 3 years and I loved it. One more thing, OMG you are gorgeous! 😍
For 10 million dollars you can have one of the best houses in Brussels on Archimède street and one of the safest because it is right next to the European institutions .
Great Video! Love your editing style!
Great insights, very entertaining presentation. Love the code switching between English / Cantonese / Mandarin!
that was great i really enjoyed
Omg you're amazing. So informed. Lovely hearing about my homeland.
Interesting video, lovely presentation!

Great and informative video. Keep up the good work.
Thank you for all these details and the market HK is in. :)
Dear Jane,
I wanted to thank you for your *Fantastic* videos,
They are very *Useful* and *Informative*
And I L💜VE them.
You present subjects that are very *Unique* or are spoken very rarely.
An entertaining clip..Nicely done!
Well done on the video Sara. May I recommend looking into the camera lens so it’s more personal and engaging.
Thoroughly enjoyed this vid, learned a lot!! Hawaii next?
22 baker road used to be the residence of the belgian consul general. My dada sold it in the name of the government. Belgium opened 5 embassy's across the world. We lived in it for 1 year before moving midlevels after the sale
the number 1 house looks like a cheap knock-off small shopping mall.
Hello, informative video!
Thank you so much.
Such a great video. Thanks!!
OMG you are amazing!
Nice work
Enjoyed the video - please do New Territories next
Learned a lot today. Wow.. Thank you.
another reason why land is expensive that she didn't mention is the government of hk only release slowly very few parcels or plots of land for tender in order to keep prices high, in order to obtain more revenue
Yeah. A screwed up model to raise revenue.
Well- researched good video, keep up the good work Sara!
I really like the editing on this! It reminds me of the old JustKiddingFilms videos
Awesome video! Wonderful editing must have taken a long time - so many awesome details!
Since you know well Shanghai, his secrets and beauties , most beautiful city in Asia , old architecture and modern ones, please do a video . Thanks . Chi Che
$320 million only !
That is dirt cheap for a house.
I want 10, where do I sign up?
life is tough for the average Joe in HK, so glad my parents migrated us out to Oz
You're so lucky!
What a delightful vid!
Great presentation.
I’ll take the Middle Gap Road house, it’s closer to downtown.
It's not the most expensive when it's in a kleptocracy. It's contrived.
U sounded it cool when you spoke Chinese, explaining.. to live up there you need not only money but also the faith to handle living high. It is a whole philosophy of its own.
I love Shenzhen , but Hong Kong is my home over in Happy Valley.
Nice. Good English commands..
3:50 imagine owning that house and driving that
1B will be hard to sell, especially to the Chinese, because street number “24” is the homophone of "易死" in Cantonese.
Great video Sara! When the Chinese billionaires come to America or anywhere else in the world to buy properties it's a bargain for them compare to what they can buy in H.K. Peak. They get a lot more bang for their buck that's for sure.
Much more personable than Michael, or Nial, not gauche, a rube, or condescending. She has style and class. Subscribed
Do Shanghai next 👍

My friends' parents have a house on Victoria Peak. 🤯
Great video. But downtown is not east TST. (7min 37s). It's Central.

I used to live on deep water bay road lol when I was a kid before moving to Sydney didn’t know the houses there costs that much lol
8 in Cantonese sounds like Fa meaning prosperous not money. but I suppose prosperous means money
75 Deep Water Bay Road would be my favourite house if I could sign a check of 320 million US.
2 is my favorite. curious about interior. do you think it's possible to do interior videos some day? personally i would love to see videos as such of all the metropolitans of the world. Thanks for the great presentation Sara!
I think living on a 100metre super yacht by the bay near HK, would be cheaper than buying in the Peak!
What effect has the clamp down , such as the new security law, had on values?
I would never want to live in H.K even if I had the
money to spend due to all the horrible traffic and
congestion with people just like in any big city in the
world. Never!!
Right on! You're lucky you have that choice. I unfortunately dont.
Demand vs Supply
Wow, your style....what school did u attend? My son whants to learn Mandarin cause of the style we saw in this clip. Feng Shui was felt...
Hi What about Sydney Australia!!!🤷🏻♀️
I live in this beautiful part of this World for nearly 45 Years.
It is amazing City!!!!💐
you right on why HK property is so expensive. The British made a lot of money from HK. This is why Jardine people is still the largest land owners in HK
You said number 6 was sold for 115 USD! I will buy it!
Sydney please
I was thinking to myself the road names are a bit bland / uninteresting… And then came along Repulse Bay ! 😂 … you couldn’t make it up.
The prices are repulsive in Repulse Bay.
Nice
I'm tired you are not seeing the camera, I stopped at 10:00 - thanks anyway
No.24, Middle Gap road, asking for $446 million.
I love you so. I miss you so
One. World. Ph
To GOD be the glory

Wow, almost as expensive as Sydney.
Yeah, Taipan is also the name of the most venomous land snake in the world. Probably not a coincidence.
Amazing place .
So pretty
pink house.
is that a cui jie behind you?
“The greatness of a nation can be judged by how it treats its weakest member”
I’ll be extremely embarrassed instead if I was that filthy rich by looking at how many people in Hong Kong couldn’t even get a Humanely decent home to live in. 🤦🏼
I'm ashamed to live in HK.
She has the most beautiful eyes
I do “The One” too 😎
But Michael Bay taught me the south side of the peak is mainland China 😂😂
Very well made, informative and funny! Wondered a little bit where the Pink House ended up in the ranking since the sales price was actually the highest ever. But how to split the value of the Pink House and whatever else was included in the sale? :)
Asia's richest man has been Mukesh Ambani in Mumbai, India .
Wow ! If i can put my house at the area.... i simply can get 10 Million....hahaha. Anyway....i like your videos ..
Why does your video list that house as 657 million while another video released at the same time list it as 446 million??
See video : Inside A $446 Million Hong Kong Mansion
Are you related to Stanley Ho?!?
Danggg u r beautiful 🤩
My uncle lika shing
Do these people fart just like we do living in the council estates ?
Isn't the number 24 rather unlucky? LOL
Awful properties with amazing purchase prices why anyone would choose to live in them is difficult to fathom - strange world !!
The inside must be spectacular. The views are the most coveted, and they are good investments, if you have the money.
For that amount of money you can buy much better properties in better locations, the people who buy those apartments is probably for status, either that or they got too much money and just need to spend it
Real estate is all about location
Vịnh nước cạn
坐北朝南,不是站北朝南.....
the no.1 house is a scam
Her face is bigger than the house 😂🏠
Good one!
Don't waste your money...HongKong is Doomed !
That art work on the wall behind you is a disaster.
Sara love u bb
⚜️x🤘🏻x⚜️
Sorry , I don’t like hk coz people’s are so rude
Look into the camera. Not how you look on the camera off screen.
