Oh I love this song. I love the performance at lalapalooza Chicago 2016. Shows their talent that is for sure. Hey if you are a fan of Nirvana and Soundgarden ck out Third Secret 2nd cd. Kim Thayil and Krist Novelsic shine thru
@@yevgeniyaleshchenko849 why, its one of the most popular bends tracks, and they play fake plastic trees and my iron lung from that album mighta s well play this next tour
@@MyBeautifulDarkTwistedFantasy6 dude hell yeaaaaaahh, the way they play it live is so good, to be fair they should play a lot of Amnesiac material live more often other than just You and Whose Army, Pyramid Song, and I Might Be Wrong, all great songs but there's way more, they don't even play Knives Out anymore, which is a bummer.
Loved Radiohead from the off, all great musicians, but Jonny is in a different stratosphere and he is an incredibly unique talent. Seems not to like being interviewed and so shy, particularly on how esteemed a musician he is. I would assume is at his best when in his bubble in front of a huge crowed mesmerising us with guitar cords no guitarist could ever imagine.
It's amazing to me, I've noticed the similarities before (with Radiohead and Nirvana), but wow. Comparing 'Just' to "SLTS' They almost have the same intro with the riff, and drum beat. 'My Iron Lung' and 'Heart Shaped Box,' have very similar arpeggios on the main guitar part, and the drum beat is exactly the same, and comes in at the exact same time.
@@amedeobini7517 Radiohead has never mentioned Nirvana as an influence, but both Radiohead and Nirvana have said to be influenced by the Pixies, especially early Radiohead.

That's me! Was an orange tee from the In Rainbows tour merch. The font and design made it kinda multi-coloured. Looks weird in the dark light and then goes bright orange the second the big floodlights come up to light the crowd (and me having the best time at 18 years old and a huge nerd lol)
Shahid Ullah late reply I know, but thom’s vocals have definitely recovered. Similar to Liam Gallagher, he went through a slightly rough patch vocal wise about 10 years ago.
Funny seeing you here me old mate. Honestly read that comment and thought it sounded like something you'd say, and is you. Parody Studios is my channel name now.
Honesty speaking Ed feels pretty useless in Radiohead, Thom does completely fine on the rythm parts. Thom and Jonny make a great duo. The performances where it's only the two of them show that well.
i love the intro where people didnt notice that they were gonna play just
this is, without a doubt, one of (if not) the best radiohead song(s)
Dude you can say this for half their discography
" Just " was the first Radiohead track that made that big impact on me.

That’s a fact. Resonates so well. But the full collaboration is 🤌🏼

Jonny Greenwood is one of the few greatest 21st century guitarists. This Song Proves Me Right.
I don't know if we can really call him a "guitarist".........
John Mayer's pretty good too
Alex Chen mayor is traditional blues guitarist, Greenwood is more of a composer/innovator
Frusciante
@@Austonnnnn All the Johns, Greenwood, Mayer, Frusciante, Jack White (John Gillis)
Physical evidence that Jonny Greenwood is not a man, and in fact a god sent down to destroy lesser guitarists in sheer badass-ery
He doesn't get enough press for sure.
no one wants to give ed some praise here, that 2nd verse guitar effects was fucking chilling and that guitar rhythm at the end is majestic.
Holy shit Jonny never ceases to amaze me :|
how is this even possible
It is unreal how much of a good guitarist Jonny Greenwood is.
musician, not just guitarist - he and Thom are immersed in talent
Greenwood is definitely a "cool person"
l love radiohead my favorite band😎
2:44 to 3:13 in this song is the best sound ever produced from a guitar, fact
there should be a "thumbs up for johny" in this video
it was pretty amazing this gig. great set list and full of actual proper radiohead fans. I was SO pleased they played just :D

I think Nirvana were a big influence for Radiohead's first two albums
Radiohead was more of a grunge band during Pablo Honey and The Bends so maybe that's why

uh, this is a bad opinion. Ed makes most of the spacey ambient sounds that really give radiohead songs their uniqueness.
ok so play weird fishes without Ed parts.
