When you said Burgundy and Copper my heart stopped. Maybe add some Shou Sugi Ban wood. That said, this truck is gorgeous with these colors and interior. I prefer the Artillery style wheels on the old school but it's not my truck so I don't get to chose! Lucky client. Thank you for the footage from the show, it looks like it was a lot of fun. I hope you met your goals.
The art deco trim on the armrests is super nice. Everything flows really well on the interior. The only thing that I'm not sure on is the PRDL on the column. 50-51 Chevy powerglide PRDL would look good.
Hi Johnathan, the ‘49 Thriftmaster is exquisite. I adore the level of design and execution. It is unsurpassed. The lucky owner of this vehicle is bound to enjoy it every time he drives it, oks at it or smells it. Brilliant ! Australia.
Look forward to Jonathan’s presentation, of a classy ICON build. I really like these PU trucks. Gonna try to be in Cali next year, maybe the fundraiser will be going on. A must see for my eclectic tastes, I believe. Thx Jonathan and ICON crew.
Always a fan of old man tan! Coolest Thrifty IMO. Mind Blown! Thank you, Mr. Ward for another time piece / master piece! Now...can you do that to my 66 W200 to resemble something close to this...let me know. :)
Emm, I love everything ICON did on those sort of truck, but only the location of the fuel cap, which seems not very convenient, of course, the owner may never loading anything on the truck though......
How about horizontal piping on the arm rests between the suede and metal top to separate the two materials? I wonder if it would stick out too far but I was trying to imagine grabbing the arm rest to close the door and feeling that piping under my thumb. Would have to see it to really understand but in my head it added a visual strength and actual durability.
Phenomenal Work! Is this the first one in such a light color? REALLY like it; the white top keeps it cool in summer, which is when this would get driven...
Never was a fan of the slammed vehicles. I like this stance and it might be even a little to low in my opinion. I drove a 54 Chevy truck and a second series 55 truck and would love to have them back.father time has caught up so no more projects
...that piping is both gorgeous and insane!!!

Always beautiful workmanship. Truly an ICON... Could easily be my favorite... Those taillights are fantastic..,
Pontiac did a show car in the early 1960's of a convertible in navy blue with brass or bronze trim.
I like that idea.
Apparently no one else did.
Appreciate and look forward to every video. That you take the time to make them and share them for all to see is much appreciated.
Beautiful! what an awesome truck!

I'm digging the colors - very well done.
You've got such class my friend! When XRP hits my target, I'm gonna have you build my dream Chevy pickup!

Love the two tone ... killer color. Too bad it's only $500,000...
I’d love to take that truck out for a chocolate milkshake

Thinking the black pin stripe should have been a double line bottom line thicker than top line.
Let’s do that on yours!
