I bought this watch around 2015/16 for 7k gbp. I can't say I like it much tbh. I think I wore it for about 3 days and not since. I think maybe I just dont like older models anymore. It's interesting to hear your valuations because it looks like prices really vary on this model.
Ma786sai Dua I wear a 2005 Ref 116528 solid 18 carat yellow gold Daytona Cosmograph a D series with the blackface and 8 diamond dots. A beauty. Do you believe swapping it for a 2012 yellow gold Submariner is a bad idea?
deciding to swap your 2005 Ref 116528 solid 18 carat yellow gold Daytona for a 2012 yellow gold Submariner depends on your personal preferences and reasons for the swap. Both watches are exceptional and highly sought-after. Consider diversifying your collection, watch style, and daily activities when making the decision. Personally, I wouldn't swap the Daytona unless I was getting a great deal out of it.
@@chronock2525 Ma786SaiDua yes True. I have many Rolex Zenith Omega Seiko in my collection. I had swapped my gold Submariner blue face 2004 for this gold Daytona. What do you think about the gold Day Date 40mm?
Ah, the Day-Date 40mm in gold is an elegant, and sophisticated. It's a perfect modern size and makes a statement, especially in gold. If you love the Day-Date and it suits your lifestyle, then it could be a great addition to your collection. But always remember, buy a watch because you love it.

Prices went up since 2015. You can’t find this model less than 13k USD
@chronock2525 Ye. I was wondering how much I could sell it for but prices are different everywhere.
