Maybe instead of telling people what they "should want" from a plant, people can just decide for themselves what they like? I don't see anything wrong aesthetically with the tissue culture grown one and would be happy to own either specimen. Sounds like just another gatekeeping effort to keep prices high by trying to sway people to dislike tissue culture plants. Same song and dance as what happened with tetrasperma years ago, turns out no one gave a shit except the people selling the non-TC specimens and now they're in every nursery for reasonable prices. How awful, right?

You can replicate that in tissue culture. It's from the cytokinin hormone in the multiplication phase. You can multiply it by micro clones instead of with hormones, and they have a normal number of shoots.

I have a TC spiritus and it's not growing radial I'm pretty sure it depends on lighting

My tissue cultured looks like that. You need to be patient and make sure it's in the right conditions and fertilizer regularly. The growth is slower but once it matures it will look just li😊ke that

It looks like the TC version has 2 active growth points. Is that maybe the reason for the apparent radial growth vs. single direction?

Often people who are arguing against TC will find some one-off error someone made in a TC lab. Usually somoclonal variation causing mutations, but that's not a characteristic of all TC plants, just some that were made incorrectly.
