  • The Jesters - Soul Feeling. A song demo recorded on 22nd March 1968 at the New York studios of Capitol Records by Williamsport, PA, band, The Jesters. The self-financed recording was made so the band could get record labels to listen to it and, hopefully, sign them up. And that's exactly what happened.
A newly formed label, Botanic Records, expressed interest, auditioned them and gave them a contract - not as The Jesters, but as Saturday's Crowd. They released one 45 on Botanic and recorded material for an album. However, the label collapsed and the album, produced by Jerry “Swamp Dogg” Williams, was never released.
The members of the band were: Richard Rupert, Freddy Wright, Mark Ranck, Charlie DeSanto and Don Miller.
