Im 63 this month in 2024 and when I was about 2 months old my cousin and I both got the thrash mouth (thrush is the proper term I think but here in East Tn we call it thrash). An older woman who was born the 7th child and her last name was Fox by birth and then she’d married a man named Fox (last name) came to our house and blew snuff into mine and my cousins mouths and we got better. Also, when I was a small child my nose would just start bleeding for no reason. So a woman came to our house and said a couple Bible verses from a King James Version Bible and my nose hasn’t bled since. I was old enough to remember this incident. It was Ezekiel 16:6 and she substituted my name in the place of thee, thou and thy. She repeated it 3 times. Just found your old video and I like your channel.
Thanks! My mother did similar healing for children when she was a girl
These graves are also found in Sparta, Tn
That’s interesting. I think I’ve seen something like those graves long ago…
The photos at the end were great!🤗❤️🐝
Thank you! ☀️
@@Keithdotson You’re welcome🤗❤️🐝
It's a nice video, I'd like to see old cemeteries.Well kept up like this one.🙂🇺🇸 6:07
Interesting video of an interesting place. Thanks for taking us along and for telling us about the history. The melted wax can conjure up all kinds of stories. And I think hunters like autumn more than photographers. (At my old job I always had a problem trying to take vacation time during the fall because my boss took off to go hunting.)
You never know what kinds of things are tucked away in the landscape! But yeah when the gunshots start that's when I move along!
Thanks for another interesting journey
Thanks for watching!
Thanks Keith ! I love old cemeteries, and this is a particularly interesting one.
Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed seeing it.
Love that tree. I think this time of year is especially cool because you are seeing trees suddnenly barren of leaves after a long period of full bloom. But, I just love that gnarly look. Thanks for taking us along on another cool trip!
Yeah I wish I had documented more of that on video. I didn't expect this to be anything more than a cemetery video on my other channel, but then other opportunities presented themselves. I 100-percent agree about seeing the gnarly trees emerge from the cloak of leaves.
Appreciate your Knowledge of the Symbolism….. Never saw a Tent ⛺ Grave before. Fascinating Practice of Burials ‘’Very Traditional….. Thanks Keith Dotson 📸
Thank YOU
@@Keithdotson 💋 👍
BTW Kieth can you film that Shack/Cabin on the inside? Maybe you’ll find something Significant? Looks timeless and Historical who knows who lived there?
I will next time I get by there! Thank you!
@@Keithdotson Can’t wait….. I’d live there.
@@Keithdotson 👠 Too far to walk there or I would haha
I’m a Putnam County native. Similar graves are in nearby White County.
The graves are somewhat unusual in shapes.
I've never heard of this.
Com’on , you can’t convince people nowadays that upside down star isn’t nefarious, the veil has been lifted , the covering is gone
Do you know of any cemeteries in east tennessee that have done ground penetrating radar
Sorry I don't, but maybe someone else will respond.
Putnam County is not East Tennessee.
Gossip eastern star people 😂😂 right masons 😮😮
Someone should clean those markers before they are gone forever.
you know it's bad luck to walk on a grave and disrespectful
Exactly right luv
The bodies are under the concrete tent between the stones so he wasn't walking on nobody 🙄
Fun fact in the 1700 & 1800's ppl were buried under the floorboards of their church, especially in the city(maybe no room left) , so they started beautiful cemeteries like Mt Mariah and Mt. Laurel! Look them up, Mt Mariah (now abandoned, on the Philadelphia side) graves left, hauntingly gorgeous and Mt Laurel, stunning flowers, trees, flowers and breathtaking graves monuments crypts
How are you suppose to cut the grass or cut weeds on a grave without going over it
How many of those Eastern Star and Masons are dead in that cemetery? ALL OF THEM!!!🤔🤣
Eastern star people 😂😂
Eastern star people? Can you elaborate on that luv?
@emeraldfox7175 Women of the Eastern Star are female Masons.
Eastern star is a masonry group
witches are real show respect to us
Can you elaborate on that luv? Interesting
He said his mother was a healer in the hills of Eastern Kentucky. So I would say he very much knows witches are real, and has respect for us.
Most folklore has truth to it. If you think it's false, why are you perpetuating the belief by mentioning it.
Despite the fact that back then witchcraft was illegal, and in the 1930's and 40's they legalized it, people still want to say it doesn't exist. LOL
OK
