In my opinion, the top three guitar players in country music are Vince Gill, Keith Urban and Brad Paisley! I would love to see all three of them play together. I saw Keith Urban in concert back in 2006. We had front row tickets dead center. I said it during the concert and then after the concert I told my then husband again. Keith Urban doesn’t just play the guitar, he makes love to it!

I remember when I was a driver, I'd be jawin' on the radio and someone would ask where my home 20 was and I'd say "Lynchburg"... they'd holler "JACK DANIELS!!!" I'd have to go, "nope, Jerry Falwell".... they'd all say "oh sorry!!" and I'd say, "yep, me too!!". Got quite a few laughs over the years and miles.
Don't know where you're located, but thought you might like to know, in late October, they have the "Bourbon and Brewfest" in Bowling Green, Kentucky. I've been to 3 or 4 of them. It's where I got to taste Orphan Barrel's "Forged Oak" 15 year old and Elijah Craig's Barrel Proof Batch #13 132 proof, both were amazing. Then I tasted 'Pappy Van Winkle's Family Reserve' 15 Year Old, yeah ............ not so much. I'd rather have plain old Blanton's. Another great bourbon, that I haven't seen, in years, is "Elmer T Lee Single Barrel".
We'll have to look out for some Intel on that for next year, it would be a bit of a drive for us, but could make for a fun bourbon'n trip which we like to do from time to time. -Dustin

You should listen to Pentatonix featuring Dolly Parton Jolene. I know I should recommend the original just by Dolly but combining the perfect performance that is Pentatonix with the Absolute country Angel that is Dolly Parton is the best! It also earned Pentatonix a Grammy. I know you guys focus on country but if you branch out into Acapella Pentatonix is the place to start.
I have to agree with Keith on the guitar playing(the solo) but I have to disagree on Brad being the best in country music, Vince Gill can play a guitar. He's the guy who accompanied Carrie Underwood while she sang How great though Art.

He has some great duets with carrie underwood. You would enjoy the live performance of carrie underwood with Steven Tyler at the ACM awards 2011. They preformed 2 songs in the same video. "Undo it" and "walk this way" She is awesome and can sing anything!

You should listen to Pentatonix featuring Dolly Parton Jolene. I know I should recommend the original just by Dolly but combining the perfect performance that is Pentatonix with the Absolute country Angel that is Dolly Parton is the best! It also earned Pentatonix a Grammy. I know you guys focus on country but if you branch out into Acapella Pentatonix is the place to start.

I have to agree with Keith on the guitar playing(the solo) but I have to disagree on Brad being the best in country music, Vince Gill can play a guitar. He's the guy who accompanied Carrie Underwood while she sang How great though Art.

Having said that, Vince really didn't lay down any super-tasty licks in that. But! The song didn't call for it. He was *just* spicy enough to appropriately support Carrie's vocals, which were mind blowing. - Keith
