Oh yeah! I saw them open for someone (Donnas?) in SF around this time. Had never heard of them - they blew my mind! One of those times when the opening band was way better than the headliner. The two things I vividly remember from that show were the singer in glasses screaming Mainline, and the badass bald bass player standing at the front edge of the stage with one foot up on the monitor, leaning into the crowd with that leering grin.
I agree imo this is the best lineup: Blind Marky Felchtone, Donny Paycheck, Abe Daniel Riggs III and Mark Pierce, they were all awesome. Saw them in Denver at 7 South and the 15th St. Tavern.
Yep this was the line up I most saw back then. I saw them so much around this time, not to mention so many shows in general at RKCNDY around then. If this was the show where they played with Hagfish and All, then I was there. I haven't spotted my goofy 7 foot ass so far though.
REST IN PEACE ABE "SONNY" ZANUEL RIGGS III...AND THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU GAVE US!!!!!!!!!!!
Favorite lineup and favorite setlist. Best Zeke era right here.
