Chief loves, his people, his home and that’s why he fights. It doesn’t have to be a lovers relationship. But it is a relationship none the less. If there’s anything this game has tought me. It’s that you need to fight for what you love. Be the inspiration for those around you. Because it never matters if you come first if your team comes in last. If you wanna get there fast go alone. If you want to get far, go together. Truly a master piece. 10/10
I agree, I am a big team player, being in the army has amplified that part of me, but I was playing a softball game once, I’m a pretty decent hitter and I was up to bat with bases loaded, 2 outs, and it was the last inning. I had the capability to hit a grand slam and walk the game off, but i could’ve just as easily struck out and lost the game because the pitcher was throwing balls. I decided at the plate that I would let the pitcher walk me and thus walk in another run. And then the next batter got a well placed hit into left field and we were able to walk it off with that. That may not have happened if i decided to try to get the victory myself by hitting a home run. That’s a small example of what you said 😅
The background music is a PERFECT touch, the somberness of it wraps Chief up perfectly. A person that no matter his internal battles will do what it takes to save his race. By any means. Willing to give his life at any moment to do what’s best for humanity. Chief is a beacon of Hope, and I am thankful to have grown up with Halo!

The story trully ended for me after halo 4. Halo 5 and infinite dont even come close to the emotional story halo 4 had but I cant discount the Bungie trilogy that set chief on this path. 343 really did amazing with Halo 4 story but lost the plot along the great journey. Biggest reason i love halo 4 is because im a huge Mass Effect fan and i love the tragic soldier hero space romance saga genre.
Nah, Weapon will never replace Cortana to Chief. Weapon see’s that full well too throughout the game how much she means to him. I also don’t think Cortana is dead going off the end cinematic. If Aatriox survived the blast, high chance she did as well. And she’s likely who saved Chief during the Harbinger fight.

My first halo was infinite I like it but I beat 3 in September first time 360 original backwards and it was incredible and I beat 4 this month originally on 360 and don’t care what others 4 is incredible not better than 3 2 1 maybe I will play combat evolved on series x when I buy it n 2024 halo 4 made me cry it’s so sad the ending I played org 2012 360
Master Chief would never fall in love. If he never fell for Kelly or Linda he's NEVER falling for an AI. This entire Cortana/Chief love story is just a mockery of the entire Spartan lore.
Is the halo lore Spartans we’re given AI’s to also help with mental stability, when they lost their ai’s they would start to go insane. I think Jon only saw Kelly and Linda as other machines/teammates fighting for the same reasons but viewed cortana much differently as she had her own will, personality and constantly communicated with him and was always by him. The others followed orders like Jon and weren’t around him as much as cortana is so I think it’s possible for him.
I would have to disagree. There is all different kinds of love. His feelings for Kelly and Linda isn’t mechanical. They are his team mates he grew up with them. Cortana has been in his head for years, knows him inside out and he has put his life in her hands and actions on many occasions. It isn’t physical love, but still a form of love.
