My mother just passed away yesterday morning and after hearing this song for the first time I can already say that I'll hold it close for years to come.
My brother serenaded his beautiful wife at their wedding with this song. It was the most incredible show of love I've ever seen, I will never forget it. It's a different perspective to this song but it still makes me tear up.
my Nan that passed sadly when i was 7, this was the song played in a slideshow in which was given to most of my family to remember her i listen to it almost twice a month because even though i feel her presence and i can talk to her it helps to numb the pain, of knowing ill never actually see her again.
Bernard went to school with my younger sister Lisa, at St Ignatius, and who died in 1977. So it only seemed fitting that we play "Watch Over Me" at our mother's funeral in 2021.
