Oh you are in for a treat. This duo is so special. Brief rundown. It's just the 2 Tyler is the singer, rapper, songwriter, producer, mult instrumentalist and he creates all their beats as well. Josh is the drummer. They're known for their genre bending. Literally rap hip-hop pop grunge rock blues punk funk classical. They don't have a single bad song. Also all their music is so deep and meaningful.
That's so exciting! Welcome to the TOP crew! Their music really is something special, so I hope you have a blast! If you need recs, please feel free to let us know! 😊
you will not regret it.. they are amazing!! but you have to start from the first album and listen to them from the beginning and their journey..so amazing
Wait this was your first time hearing Twenty One Pilots? Oh yeah, they're a dope band. I fell off of them for a couple years due to COVID and getting tired of hearing Stressed Out, but that was my idiocy lol. They're amazing.
Nice reaaction! And welcome to the rabbit hole 😂 top has a deep collection of songs that just take you through a journey, both musically and lyrically, always switching the music but keeping their sound. Lyrics are solid and layered, leaving so much room for interpretation to make them so personal. Hope you discover more tøp bangers from all their different albums 🎉
Haha I've been reacting to them the past few months! But yes, yall are way more involved than me, so I have catching up to do haha. I definitely plan on reacting to more so hope you'll stick around for it!
Yesssss!!! I knew you would vibe with this one. The moment that Bradley smile hits, you know it’s gonna be a great reaction 😼 They did a 3 hour livestream the night of the Clancy album release and walked through each of the songs and videos. There were two songs Josh (drummer) had to convince Tyler to put on the album - this one and Navigating, which I also think is fire! I’m not entirely sure why Tyler second guesses some of these tracks, maybe he thought this one wouldn’t be as relatable as it is? Tyler is such a prolific songwriter I can’t even imagine how many songs will never see the light of day. But Tyler trusts Josh. I’m so glad you are exploring more TOP. If at all possible, try to catch them on this tour!! The Clancy tour will be a really special one since it is the conclusion of a storyline that has crossed over multiple albums. Their live shows are unreal … total immersive experiences. ||-//
Hahaha that's sweet of you. Yup, yall know when I'm about to really start feelin' a song, you can vibe out with me. And yeah, that is a good point. It makes you wonder either a) what songs he couldn't be convinced to release or b) he wrote but just never even told anyone about and tossed in the trash. A shame. I'm sure all his stuff is heat. I have to do some major catching up to the Clancy stuff but I will definitely do my best to catch it!
This has been the most popular of the new tracks from the new album Josh the drummer had to convince Tyler to put this on the album Vignette another good one from the new album
I'm so glad you loved the song: It's absolutely of my faves from the new album! I don't know how, but they perfectly capture that hazy feeling between asleep and awake, that so many people can relate to! And yes: TOP really are some of the most talented artists doing it right now, and they deserve every single bit of the success they have and more! As far as suggestions: I would HIGHLY echo the recommendations of Vignette and At The Risk Of Feeling Dumb (I bet you'd love them!), as well as Midwest Indigo! Honestly though, they have 8 albums without a single miss, so you can't go wrong!
Great reaction, I’m so glad you vibed with this track because I love it. Your smile tells me you’re feeling it too. Great track to listen to during those insomniac dreams, isn’t it?! 🔥💛👏👏👏
Just came across this channel, and I dig your groovin’ on T O P , and I agree they should be talked abt even more than they are. And they are, like you said, but NOT enough, by far. They’re GREAT. Kind of genius, actually…
this vid made me a subscriber. :) excited to go look for your tøp reactions! when people dive in, after a certain point, they get wholly sucked in like the rest of us and we love to see it.
Oooh, this is my favorite song on the album! I think this band could be bigger but Tyler just stays at home in Ohio and writes all this stuff in a bubble. I think sometimes he psychs himself out when choosing songs for the album. He’s so hard on himself.
TØP is so underrated in the rest of the world. top class musicians! they ALWAYS find a way into your head! go to their first album and listen to them in chronological order..you'll thank me later 🤙
Hey Mr Speed! As much as i love Routines In The Night, I loved the last 5 minutes when you give kove to Twenty One Pilots! Good words! Also, plesse check out more songs from Clancy. Vignette and At The Risk Of Feeling Dumb are favorites. I think you'll love them.
Aww, thank you for that. My favorite part of doing these isn't just the music but being able to talk to yall, so I appreciate that. And yup, we have more Twenty One Pilots coming, don't you worry.
They just did a live tour video version of this song. It’s worth a watch/ reaction. Also the video for “Car Radio”, if you haven’t seen it. The last reaction of yours I watched was Kevin Olusola. I told you his channel had a Harry Styles cover. I am interested to know if you’ve reacted to any Harry Styles. He’s got an eclectic sound too. Maybe try, “Music For A Sushi Restaurant”, from Harry’s House (his latest album). Or “Kiwi”, from his self titled album. All his original music is good. He also has some great covers out there. His band is stellar. Happy listening, happy watching you do it ✌️💜🤘
I'm a fan of Harry (I've actually seen him in a concert, was a dope show) but haven't really done any reacts to it for the channel. May have to do that actually? 🤔
I know you’re in the new album but you gotta check out Lane Boy (going against industry standards to do their own thing) one Ode to Sleep (their journey)🙌🏼❤️
First time on your channel. I love Routines In The Night. At The Risk Of Feeling Dumb, and Vignette are also favorites off Clancy, but the whole album is nothing but bangers IMO. Lane Boy (from Blurryface, 2015) sets them up for why they aren't talked about more. Their music doesn't fit in one genre, which is super cool, but also limits where they are heard. They are too emotional for pop. They aren't hip-hop enough for hip-hop. They are too hip-hop, and too pop for rock. Yet all this is why I love them. I can't understand why those old boundaries still exist. They are only really played on Alternative Radio /Lists and lets face it, Alt hss been dying for years.

Yeah that's what I was saying. That's wild to me he had to convince him, it's a great song.

It's always the artists, especially the great ones, that are their biggest critics.
They are so fire!!
I’ve really gotten deep in their catalog lately
You should do heavy dirty soul 😊
Great reaction!!

They're catalog is way too big for me now haha but they're definitely a generational talent. It's been fun listening to them.

Based on your comments about a manufactured sound or corporate music, you should go check out their video for Lane Boy. He basically talks about that!
Subbing in hopes you do entire Clancy album..it’s so 🔥!!! Vignette!!

Hey! Found my way here from the TokTok, figured I'd drop my first comment on one of my favorite bands reaction, very nice
I got to go to a live show of ToP here in Minneapolis and it is now a core memory, such good quality, both sonically and production wise
Hey man! Glad you made your way over. You caught me at a very busy time haha. But glad you could make it!
