What Happened to Esteban Gutierrez?

He took me on a hot lap round Austin Texas race track in Mercedes GT. It was great, and Esteban was a really good ambassador. I liked him a lot and wish him the very best. Cheers to you Esteban.

I am still amazed he only managed 6 points in a car that was able to score points comfortably throughout the Season. removing Kobayashi for him has to be one of the worst decisions Sauber ever made

Gutierrez was a terrible F1 driver overall, he managed just 6 points in 2013 vs Hulkenburg's 51, leaving Sauber with less then half the points haul of the previous season. Replacing Kobayashi for him showed how badly they needed the money at the time.

Esteban is doing well he is a test driver and ambassador for Mercedes Benz. He was in the historic Monaco GP last week and often goes to PR events with MB. He also appears often driving in Goodwood
