MEP-803A Military Tactical 10K Generator

Military Tactical Generator 10K MEP-802A/MEP-803A. Overview before repair and start-up. Picked up dirt cheap. Not sure if it will run only 1,112 hrs.

I have the same generator had it for over 2 years. Just recently it started to shut off after running for +20 hours not sure why but started with the basics for trouble shooting. Battery maintenance batteries are charged and terminals are clean. Oil levels, oil filter check and sat. I use 15w 40. Replaced alternator check and sat. After all that generator started up like normal but shut off after 24 hours. Not sure what else to do or look at but I do see some oil coming from the top or cylinder area.

Hello Sir good evening/good morning,
I saw your video on youtube regarding an MEP 802 generator, and was wondering if you know if that is the generator used for the ac unit ACE-802-392S and if not, if you know which generator(s) is/are used to power that ac unit.

That Generator is way under power for that unit, you need need to figure out the watts/amp/voltage for that AC then find a matching Generator.

What kind of motor oil to use? 10w-30?
