21. To Crow and To Die
Living knowing that he will die is like the fate of the crowing bird, leaving the possibility of hunting behind. These lands, on the other hand, raised a poet like Mahzuni, who told us that the world was a ruined bond and that he knew the purpose of existence as 'crowing' by rejecting the paradise rented to man's feet. life must have something to do with silence and death with silence.
In the Sufi tradition, singing(crowing) is understood as "living with the awareness of the truth", just like Dasein's self-realization, unlike making a sound simply. Crowing means knowing the meaning and being able to express it. Mevlana, in his work called Mesnevi, is against a "bird language" which is understood only by making a sound as a Sufi person. And beyond that, the act of singing (living, in other words speaking for God, Hakk) takes place in the Sufism tradition as an action that should ultimately be assigned to silence. Perhaps one should abandon the voices that have begun to shape themselves since the first moment in the mother's womb, and reach silence so that the "creator of the language" can hear the voice.

Crowing represents living metaphorically. The flight of the soul depicted with the death of a human being, and the departure of the soul as a bird, is an expression of a myth that absolute silence begins. However, when a person's life ends, the possibility of crowing or actually crowing ends. When a person dies, it continues to exist, albeit with a change in appearance and smell. What diminishes with death is sound. In fact, it is the soul or spirit sound that is thought to come out with death. The voice of the human who died has disappeared. The death is the flight of the soul and soul in bird myths as a bird also takes place through this historical transference. For this reason, while the bird represents the soul and spirit in the Ancient Turks, perhaps it also represents the sound. When death comes, the sound (or bird) will fly away.
