    I am going to sound like a kid but I wish you lived in US. I would be begging for the stain glass you throw in the trash. Lol ... oh God are you in US? What would you change for the pound of the glass you normally throw in the garbage? I saw you making those gorgeous pictures and the sunflower and another video where you clean and showed what you threw in the trash. Oh I feel like a child lol

      I am in the US. I live in Georgia. I have given myself permission to discern what is trash. I pull usable pieces and throw out trash. I have also made art from scraps and stored scraps for years without using them. My storage capacity and use for scraps is limited. And so into the trash they go. Ah… relief.

      No worries. It was a struggle to throw away shards. And it was a problem before I realized I couldn’t save them all!

    I noticed you don’t put the year of the mosaic when signing. Is that a no no? 🤔🐢

    I have just discovered your channel and am enjoying watching all of your videos. I am fairly new to mosaics and am planning some stepping stones for my yard using stained glass. Do you seal the concrete before applying the tesserae? And what adhesive do you recommend? Thanks so much.

    • @mazzonimosaics8222
      @mazzonimosaics8222  2 роки тому

      Yes. Mainly to prevent efflorescence after grouting.

      @@mazzonimosaics8222 Thank you for your answer. Could you advise what product I should use to seal the concrete? And with stained glass as tesserae would you recommend thinset or silicone as an adhesive?

      I use a Stone & Grout sealant. Either one will work as the adhesive, so it’s personal preference. I like Silicone with thinner Tess like stained glass, but some people find it messy. I’ve also been using mirror which requires neutral cure, so thinset wouldn’t work for that.
