I’m sorry, but a third season is definitely not coming...
Alex Hirsch (creator) has moved on since then, and he never wished for a third season for the same reason the show almost didn’t have a proper ending (S2). Disney could in theory make a third season in the far future, or maybe even a reboot, but believe me it wouldn’t be as good as if it were directed by Alex. So I’d rather have a proper although bittersweet ending to a great show than a possible bad continuation that ruins the image the show had if it hadn’t been continued
I just desire gravity's falls after the chaos not necessarily a third season

The statue at the end and the last cryptogram always bring a smile to my face. It's basically them saying, "Yeah, the show might be over,but there are still mysteries out there!"
And then the hunt for that statue began and hoooooo boy did things get nuts.

@@asukaito9873 Yes it was. Search Cipher Hunt some time. Nowadays it’s not at that spot but a tourist trap called Confusion Hill which was the inspiration for the Mystery Shack.

Dipper and Mabel leaving Gravity Falls feels or felt like our childhood coming to an end, a feeling that cannot be recaptured
Its really something special. If you watch a series, follow the characters and then, you see the last episode.
Its like saying goodbye to good friends.

Thats what I love great about this show, it's so captivating, fun, exciting, full of sadness but yet calming and happy. I just finished watching Gravity Falls for the first time. I cried, one of the best shows I've ever seen
The last picture of Dipper, Mabel, and Waddles sleeping together on the bus and getting home safely always gets me very very very emotional. Also I've just rewatch the whole series again since Gravity falls ended on 2016. I am now 20 and I feel more emotional today than I was about 13 years old. Growing up sucks, but by rewatching this show especially, at the last four episodes. I realized to always look at bright side of things and also "Ready to face the unknown". I LOVE GRAVITY FALLS!!!

I just finished this series when im 16 at thr start of summer. This song will forever be in my heart. When I finally did finish warching the entire show, i cried, had a nosebleed, chugged two bottles of coke, and walked my dog while being happy that the show existed.

7 years ago today , Gravity Falls ended its run. But years later other shows would follow it's foot steps like The Owl House and Amphibia.
Exactly and people that worked with Alex Hirsch made the shows that we know right now. For example, the storyboard artist Dana Terance created The Owl House. One of the writers, Shion Takeuchi created Inside Job. The Director, Matt Braly created Amphibia (Comment on someone that I missed). If it weren’t for Alex, these good animated shows wouldn’t be here. :))

Seriously one of the best shows in the whole animation industry I loved bill cipher he was such a fun and chaotic villain that he send shivers down my spine and I was sad when the series was over but I rewatched it again and I cried alot more at the ending then I did last time

My childhood was spent watching Phineas And Ferb, Fish Hooks, and Gravity Falls. When each ended, it felt like a piece of my childhood was gone. I remember watching the ending to Gravity Falls with my parents and both of them had to console me after the credits rolled because the last piece of my childhood was over. How I wish I could go back to 2012 and start over with this series

Finished rewatching it today, that ending never fails to make me cry. I used to watch it when I was 12-13 a lot, I lived for gravity falls episodes, after some years of not revisiting a single episode I had to give it another rewatch and my god the nostalgia trip hits hard. I’m 19 right now, will come back in another 5 years to rewatch it and see if my opinion has changed (it won’t).
I still remember the hype for Weirdmageddon part 3. Unbelievable it's been well over 5 years now
I just thought of something. If they are going to be on that bus from oregon to california, then its going to take 11 to 12 hours to get home. That wouldn't be a problem except they were leaving on the last day of summer, meaning they basically got to go straight to their first day of school as soon as they get off that bus.
After I’ve finished rewatching the series I can’t even begin to explain how these end credits make me feel.

Yes in the real journal 3 he and Stanford talk to eachother and now they learn to reconnect with their family member
It's too bad that this show will never have any more seasons but it will always be a good show no matter what

I am mindblown. To what I just realised. If Dippers copies are still alive, then so is journal number 3! Dipper always carries it with him, so probably also when he copied himself, and you can see dipper #4 reading from a book with a red cover.
Such a bittersweet sequence, knowing it’s over but having the memories to live and relive and yet the characters live on beyond this one summer. For a show that strived to capture the feeling of a summer holiday it sticks the landing in that.
Honestly One of the best Shows Disney has to offer :D , So Nostalgic and underrated.

I watched this show for the first time last year (when I was 29) thinking it would be something nice to have on the background…it ended up becoming one of my all time favorites, it is amazing, when these credits rolled I felt like I had witnessed something truly special

This show came out when I was 7 years old. It's almost been 10 years. I'm 17 now, obviously. My last year of being a child.
And coming back to this? It makes me...almost sad. But it'll be okay. I'm going into the unknown, too! I'm not alone, though.
This show means a lot to me. It always will. It shaped me as a person, I love mysteries. I love the paranormal. That all started here.

To be honest, First I saw these credits, I am actually crying. My Most favourite Cartoon was ended, that was made me sad

They should make two more seasons of the next summer from mabels point of view cos season 1 and 2 were dippers
Actually, when you think about it, most of Season 1 basically started out as a silly lighthearted cartoon with a couple of kids going on fun and crazy adventures. Which practically fits with Mabel's character.
While the theming of Season 2 was more dark and serious. Lots of big plot points were revealed, and a lot of mysteries were solved. Pretty much fitting with Dipper's character as well.
I would like to see a spin-off About what the Stan twins did on their adventures after the show ended. Sadly Alex Hirsch can no longer make a deal with Disney

The fact that 0:15 is the only bonding moment we ever got to see between Mabel and Ford in the entire show is legit sad! I get why he kinda favors Dipper, but I wish we could have seen more of him hanging with Mabel too!

My sister and I are twins and watched this show from start to finish and when it ended we were 13. I still can't believe how much this forged our personalities and future interests, i'm the nerd twin majoring in engineering and my sister is the arts and crafts twin who likes drawing and is majoring in theatre. We even had the alpha twin thing where the sister twin was a millimeter taller... good times. I'm now 6' 2" and my sister is 5" 4" so it came back to bite her hehe
It's been so long since I've seen this show, I'm glad I watched the end to remember a good lesson from it

After a whole decade of putting it off, I finally decided to watch Gravity Falls, and yeah, it was amazing. While I didn't watch the show, I was very much aware of its existence and popularity within my friends. But something about this credits scene got me emotional. Regardless, i'm so glad to have finally watched this incredible show and wish I watched it way sooner.
