That's not how they fight when the benches clear, outside of a small number of players. Also, charging the mound after being hit by a Nolan Ryan pitch was the biggest mistake in Robin Ventura's career. For those who don't know who the players mentioned are, your parents probably caught that game at one point or other, or watched either player during parts of their career.

No joke. Was on a softball team with this one girl. She got up to the plate against the slowest pitcher in the league. She got hit and she literally threw herself onto the ground and started screaming and crying. We all just watched on our team because we all knew she was okay, just a drama queen. The other team seemed worried but the girl literally stood up after about a minute of her scene, wiped her tears, and walked to the bag like that didn’t just happen-
I play softball and sometimes the kids on the other team get hit a little bit and they start balling their eyes out

That’s what I did once when I was hit straight in the knee cap by a 50 mph softball and I tried to walk it off and yes it hurt so I teared up a little but didn’t cry or anything

I got hit in the shoulder blade and it hurt so much. They were gonna have the worst player on the team run for me, but I decided I was fine and wiped my tears. Got the run on him.

One of our batters was hit by a 85 mph ball and it square threw him backwards onto the ground, man almost hit the backdrop. Totally think he was exaggerating, but it was a pretty fast pitcher.

This video was awesome, my nickname my team gave me was Tank because of my ridiculous pain tolerance, and since i was a Hefty Lefty hitter that stood in as close as possible to the line i would always get hit, I'd just calmly toss my bat towards my dugout and jogged to first, i did break a couple of knuckles and fingers throught my time in baseball because anytime a ball came inside that was in the strike zone it would usually hit my hands and break my fingers

I was watching one of my brother's baseball games and the batter after him got hit in the back. After stepping out of the box, he fell to the ground and acted like he had been shot. I know it hurts, but come on he was 12. Anyways, everyone was laughing and he played the rest of the game.

Ok but sometimes thos seniors have a nasty curveball or slider in a left-handed hitter sometimes it looks like it's just coming right at my face and then all the sudden just last second dips into the strike zone so sometimes I end up moving out of the way because it looks like it's coming at me

being a pitcher for my highschool when i was younger i had to laugh because i remember those tense games on the mound against your rival team looking into the dugout to for the call from my teammates to nail the hitter at the plate for the last half inning where they nailed one of our hitters
right handed pitcher throwing a hard cut fastball to a right handed hitter. watching that ball slice across the plate about an 1”, 1-1/2” and make contact with the ribs if they didnt jump out of the box

I have played and I was pitching and the batter was the size of the catcher and I hit his helmet and that was sketchy Bc it knocked him down and blacked out I thought he was dead for a second but he got up ok and went to first base

Last year, I was playing softball and I'm a highschooler so they pitch pretty fast. I got hit with the ball at 60+ mph right in the knee cap. I had the biggest bruise for weeks and weeks 😬
I got hit with a 80 mph baseball in middle school. I got a concussion and 3 less teeth in my head.

The other one grazed my thigh and i barely felt it.
I truly have the best and worst luck, because the nerve damage one was in a championship game, and the graze was in practice.

I have a very shitty pain tolerance, but the only times I’ve cried when I got hit was I got hit in the ribs, and the other time it was a pick off to 2nd and he drilled me in the arm directly. He was the hardest thrower in the league so it was about 75 mph dead to the arm to a 13 year old
