I know haha, I had an Arab dude try this on me recently but he drove up in a new luxury SUV saying he needed gas money to get to the airport while I was walking into a friends house. He put a bunch of gold jewelry in my hands and I had to keep handing it back to him. He said he was from Dubai and this is on the West Coast, nowhere near where this video happened so they must have a script or all use the same story. I was laughing about it with my friends afterwards like "How does a rich guy from Dubai need gas money?" People are stupid, I can't believe people fall for this.
@@andrewnight4860 We have them in my city too, this guy was obviously not one of them. I have a big beard and brown skin, so he thought I was an akhi. He started talking to me in fluent Arabic until I replied in English and he looked hella surprised then switched languages...
What makes people fall for this scam is their own greed. The scammer is not taking advantage of kindness. The reason they offer the “gold” is to tap into that greed. Emergency gas money might be $20-$30. Not $2500!
I just fell for this scam. I’ll never ever give anything to anyone ever again because of him !!!!! It will be all I can do to stop myself from punching the next person that asks me for money in a parking lot. My days of trusting people is now gone forever.

Just got encountered by some dude while working with my step dad. He said he needed gas and my step dad offered him gas since he always has gas to fuel his equipment. He said that it wasn't enough gas and that he should just get some money in exchange for his 24 carat gold watch and rings, my step dad said no thank you and we got away from the scammer. I then searched up this scam to see if he really was a scammer and found this video. I'm so glad we trusted our instincts.
The bible compares our life to a vapor that quickly disappears, or a plant that is here today and gone tomorrow. Do you think about what happens after you are gone? Where is your soul going? Have you heard of a place called heaven and a place called hell? Today I want to urge you to surrender your life to God. Salvation is gifted to us from God out of pure love. All we need to do is believe and follow Jesus Christ. This scripture sums it up. For God so loved the world that He sent His only begotten Son, that whoever believes on Him should not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16 Turn your life over to Christ today, tomorrow may be too late. If you have any comments or questions feel free to ask me.
Lol for real, I just had a brand new 4runner pull pull up on me and ask for a full tank of gas and the next day a brand new Durango pulled up and asked the same
This happened to me today off of 95 in NC. I had the feeling that this was bullshit but what made me angry about the situation is the man had his children in his car. Shameless.
Exactly the same with me, wife kids and one new born, in the back sit, it happened one time in Los angles, one time in Utha. Many are Indians from India they come as a tourist scam people and go back. They bring all these fake jewelries with them, if they raise 20K it goes a long way in India it's like 1 million dollar in their country.
this scam has been around for years. I remember being 18 years old, pulling up to the gas station and a man approached me claiming a similar situation, pointing at his car and saying I'm out of money I have my kids with me please take my ring and u can pay me whatever you have. I told him ok here is 20$. he said no more please. I said "no that's enough to fill ur tank so why would u need more" he tells me it's worth 4k I said ok well the pawn shop is right there and pointed at it within walking distance. He said he had no i.d. so I told him it's fine ill pawn it for you. He begins to get frustrated and stormed off always trust your gut, if it feels wrong or off it's because it is, don't trust it...
Thanks you that happened to me then fucker scammed me off 60 bucks and the ring was brass. Lol he made it sound so good. I felt it off cuz they wanted more . dont they believe in karma. Sonz a bitches
Dude I fell for that scam once it was a man with his family they had a nice Chevy SUV and he sold me a fake gold necklace and a wrist, I tried to sell it to the pawn shop, and I got really upset, and yesterday during work an Arab looking man tried to sell me a fake ring and I told him I had only a card, he burned off, I'm tired of those scammers taking advantage of caring people.

I feel the same way. I didn’t want the jewelry , just to help. I figured it was fake, but they seemed so needy. I don’t even wish ill on them. Actually, I hope that they learn before someone who is not nice does something bad to them for their trickery. I’ll justify it as my charitable deeds for a while 😣
I had the same experience, the guy had his son in back seat sleeping. He told me his son was hungry & he needed gas money. He also claimed he was from Dubai. He tried to give me gold jewelry, but I lied and told him I didn’t have any money on me. Never trust a guy driving a Benz asking for money lmao.
It's nice to help people who are genuinely stranded maybe even give them a few bucks but definitely not in the hundreds or thousands stay safe and protect yourself
Greed. He wanted to scam the scammer by taking advantage of the scammer's unfortunate circumstance and get his gold for dirt cheap, instead he got got.
If one is giving hundreds or thousands, they are typically not genuinely concerned about the person, as much as they are in the apparent gain for themselves.
He's not a good man he got scammed because he tried to get something for nothing. If you're dumb enough to think you'll get a $100,000 rolex, 2 rings and a chain for 2500, you deserve to get scammed
These are hilarious!! Lmao. Keep giving these people your money and keep the videos coming. Anyone that does this has to have been dropped on their head about 300 times when they were a baby. Who gives $130,000 worth of jewelry for $2500? It is almost your fault for being greedy.
Exactly ! that’s the draw they know they would fail because they’re greedy the dude gave him 2500 thinking he would make bank back he wasn’t going to “return it “ and just get his 2500 back 😂 his greedy self got him

Sorry, long story here. I'm actually really disheartened, because this happened to me today. Guy approaches as I'm pumping gas. He says he's from Dubai. Now, I happen to speak Arabic, so I ask him "oh, tahki arabi?" (Do you speak Arabic?) And he replies "yes yes" and so then i go on for a few sentences, but he keeps replying in English, which I find strange, but then, since I'm not a native speaker, I think "oh, he must hear my accent or something" so eventually I switch back to English. He's got 3 females in the back, 2 who look like they're 12, one who looks like the mother, and there's a boy who looks about 16 in the front. I guess he caught on to the fact that I found it strange that he wasn't speaking Arabic with me, and as an explanation for his lack of fluency in Arabic, he says "my mother is Arab, but my dad is Bosnian" to which I think "okay, sounds plausible". He says he's on his way to his brother's house in Florida and that people stole $3000 from him, and that the police couldn't help him. He then says "but my family isn't poor, look, here's my watch. My family is made of millionaires" and he starts pointing to his watch and necklace, which I'm uninterested in. He tries to offer them as collateral, but I'm a Sikh, i take my religion very seriously, and we believe in helping people whenever we can. So i tell him not to worry about the necklace, we can work out the details later. I agree to pay for the gas, and i proceed to fill the car up. The car was empty, and when combined with the fact that he had me call his phone, which had a florida area code, it seemed to corroborate the story that he's from Florida. So I'm about to leave, and he's like "brother, we need food, my kids are hungry, please help my children". Initially, I said "that's all I can do now" and he says "please, my kids need to eat, can you give us $60 so that we can eat?". I give in, and go inside to the ATM, get the money, and give it to him. He puts his forehead to my hand they all say thank you, and they left. However, something just didn't feel right. He said he'd call me tonight to talk about repayment, and he never called of course. I typed in "I'm from Dubai and need gas money" into Google, and sure enough, found out I was scammed. It made me upset because now I just don't know when I should trust people. When should I ignore the pleas of someone on behalf of their alleged children? At the end of the day, I have decided to let it be with God, I can't do anything anyway. I know that my heart was in the right place. In the moment, I just couldn't understand why someone would lie and debase themselves in front of their own child, especially their own daughters and wife. But alas, not everyone is like us. I'll just be more discerning in the future. I share this story for other like-minded people. Please, be more discerning in your attempts to help people. You have your own life to think about as it is. We need to be sparing with our charity sometimes.
Hello! Im in Henderson, NV and the same thing happened to us. Im out $160. I need dental work but helped him instead. I also have two young children. Whats sad is to find out people can lie so well. No regard to kids being with them also! Oh well. The Lord honors my heart! 🙏🏼
This is a very well worded response; I have a lot of respect for the Sikh's, and I'm sorry that someone took advantage of your generosity. My golden rule is that I do not give money out to people who ask for it. If someone is genuine, I instead offer to buy them food or coffee, and that often works with the homeless and they are always appreciative. If someone approaches me, I refuse. I am a Christian and will vow to help the needy, but never the greedy.
I experienced this for this first time today. Saw some guy on the road in a suit. He waved me down to pull over. Looked worried. I pulled over, put my window down and soon as he approached the car, I looked at his van that had kids crying in it with other people. My brain told me LEAVE NOW GET OUT OF HERE. left asap cuz I got a really bad vibe. The happened in Queens NYC
I was at Walmart today and guy in a Mercedes immediately pulled up as I was getting my kids out. He acts distressed but thankful that I'm hearing him out and goes into some long sob story about his daughter getting beaten up and this, that, and the other. Im sitting there waiting for him to tell me what he wanted but he's yammering on and on about stuff I don't care about. My kid started crying and I told him I had to take care of him and he just drove off without even bothering to ask for a couple bucks or anything. He must be conditioned to run his full scam in the same format and if he's interrupted he'll just abort and look for a new victim.

It was weird and I noticed some red flags, but if he was really in need of help I decided I could fork over 20$. Anyways he was trying to give me a ring but I wasn’t going to help in exchange for anything so I gave it to him. Also there was some talking as I was trying to figure out the situation, he was then trying to offer me his chain. Anyways it came down to him asking for it, I ended up giving him the 20$ just in case. But my main concern was, he had children, I really do hope that was his family. This just happened to me today in miami, FL. Two middle eastern guys, said they were from Dubai & lost wallet. Got scammed into giving them money and they gave me a (obviously fake) Rolex. Should’ve called police but felt like I was in danger. Be safe and just say no to strangers!
Typical Gypsy scam. They're most probably a Gypsy family, I have been approached at least 3 different times at a gas station in Corona, California. Always at a gas station.
With all respect, I have same experience in paso Robles In a gas station, what I told the guy, was get the fuck out of my face. Cause I knew it. Or ready
Happened to me twice in San Diego. Two different foreign guys with their families and driving fancy SUVs. I told them both to go kick rocks because I wasn't falling for it.
Man this just happened to me and my friend today in Atl. The guy said he was a millionaire from Europe and needed to get back to Miami, but he lost his wallet and didn’t have gas. The out of no where he flashes gold and my friend does a scratch test which it passes. My friend then buys a ring for $50 which prompted me to ask about a chain which I also bought for $50 smh
I work at a pawn shop, we get at least 3 people a day that walk in with the same looking fake gold. Soon as the show it to me I already know what it is.
This happened to me today but I heard of this scam. He pulled up to the gas pump next to me and said “ hey I need your help I have no gas” pulls out a big gold ring. At this point I knew and I told him im not interested. He kept talking and I got in my car. These people make you not trust anyone.
This just happened to me at a Wal-Mart in Memphis...the guy had his family saying he was stranded and needed money for gas and food. He tried to sell me the jewelry but I only had 10 bucks on me so I gave it to him and kept it pushing. Had no idea this was a scam

This happened to my father yesterday and he lost $4k. Was a guy and his 50 year old ish son in Washington State with Florida license plates saying their wallet was stolen and he needed to drive back to FL. My dad tried to do checks and balances and is not a dummy, but is the kind of guy who would give you the shirt off his back. They had a thick accent and my father has employees who speak Arabic, so he called to see if they could help translate and they could not as the man was 'Bosnian'. The guy was a perfect actor and preyed on my father. Literally identical rings, necklaces and a rolex were given to my dad as collateral. And my sweet dad asked me to put the jewelry in my safe to ensure we could get it back to them. I am sick about it because my dad is so smart and got got by this. These guys are professionals. It sickens be because it makes it harder for people who really really need help not get it because we are all afraid its a scam.
During covid a white man asked at a convenient store/gas station if anyone could help him with gas. I was suspicious about him at first and when he went outside I asked if anyone knew him. The cashier said she knew him and it was true- plus his wife just died and his 2vlittle ones were with him. I ended up filling up his tank. I'm not telling this because I think I'm a hero or something. It just so happens that only a week before I was in the same situation where a total stranger did the same for me. I didn't ask him. He saw me sobbing at the gas pump and it was only the day before my husband had passed away. That stranger was my guardian angel- but I also believe you should always pay it forward!❤
This just happened to me today in the west suburbs of Chicago. Only this time he claimed to be Latino and he had to get to new york. He offered me his gold rolex and rings for $500 but I wasn’t interested in any of that. I ended up giving him $20 for gas but nothing more because I had a voice in my head tell me something wasn’t right. Stay sharp out there everyone.
This happened to me a few months ago. I knew it was fishy the second the approached me. The guy looked like DJ Khaled and offered me this “gold ring” that I immediately knew was fake due to the poor quality engraving. I told them I was a broke college student and his pig-ugly wife asked, “You don’t even have 300 or 400 dollars you could spare?” And I just said, “No woman! I don’t!” Glad I didn’t spare a dime on them. No broke people drive an Escalade. In hindsight, I should’ve called the police on them, but what vile scumbags.
This guy approached me in the same way. Black Escalade. Had his 2 teenagers w him. Offered me his gold ring and necklace for gas money. I was like wtf? First thing I thought was why don’t you just pawn it? The kids looked at me like I was a sucka so I knew right away. Man put his gold in my hand and told me to inspect it. Said he really needed the gas money I said man I can’t help you 😂😂. Swear next week, different man approached me in the same parking lot with the same shit smh
I just got scammed by that man. My values were to take care of his family and his needs to go back to California. I should have known but I will be careful next time by these people. This hurts after giving them the last of what I had saved up.
They got me too! I'm homeless, but I am so empathetic that its starting to think twice when helping someone else. I tried to give him the jewelry cuz I just wanted to help. He kept going up on what he wanted but there is where I explained I'm homeless I can help you but not a lot. Anyway, yeah they got me🤬. Don't let me see him again!🤺
Wow, this guy is in the Bronx. This same thing happened to me today. I encountered him waving behind a black suv with blinkers on at a highway exit. I thought he needed help or something and decided to stop . He runs to my vehicle and tells the same story, he lost his wallet and money and doesn’t have gas. Immediately he offers me a “gold” ring “ from a supposed graduation. I’m just staring out the window super confused because I don’t know what to do, whether to help him or call the cops. So immediately I get this gut feeling to leave and I leave. He stays on the highway exit and walks away shamefully and I drive off feeling guilty because I couldn’t even understand him. He did sound Indian, though. I knew that it had to be some set up or something because nobody just stands at a highway exit and offers to pay you with a gold ring for money. Glad that I did not fall for this one.
So me and my dad were going to Virginia last weekend. We went to at a rest stop and this man in a car pulled up to us, claimed he was from Dubai and he actually had his wife and kid in the car with him to. Same exact story, lost wallet, needs money, and even gave us the two 18k carat gold rings and a chain. He said he was trying to make it to florida and we fell for it, it seemed very real considering his wife was crying and he kept saying he has a kid with him etc. yeah really a shame. Can’t trust people
Remember, you'll never see a millionaire, let alone a millionaire from Dubai, or an Arab millionaire caught dead in a situation like, period.

What makes people fall for this scam is their own greed.
The scammer is not taking advantage of kindness. The reason they offer the “gold” is to tap into that greed. Emergency gas money might be $20-$30. Not $2500!

I was at Walmart today and guy in a Mercedes immediately pulled up as I was getting my kids out. Im sitting there waiting for him to tell me what he wanted but he's yammering on and on about stuff I don't care about. My kid started crying and I told him I had to take care of him and he just drove off without even bothering to ask for a couple bucks or anything. This happened to me today in TN. Some guy comes up to me in a van with kids in it. He asks if I speak Spanish which I do, anyways he ends up asking me to help him, his story was that he was vacationing in Nashville with his family and that he lost his wallet and needed gas to go back to California. Just know anyone you see a guy trying to offer you jewelry, it’s most likely a scammer.

He actually had his kid in the car with him
And even the kid was like please please help us

And offered me jewelry
I use apple pay so I don’t really carry cash and only had like 20 and he was like I’ll take it here take these chains
And I didn’t take them
Just hooked him up with some cash
I only told this story to my GF not even my homies
And I always said to myself damn I shoulda took the gold chain.

I got scammed today with this. I was hungry and was not thinking well at all. I should have been more careful. The man claims he is from Dubai, Abu Dhabi. His name was Mustaffa. There was two kids at the backseat. His alibi was his brother died and he was out of gas and needed some cash, so he wants to pawn his gold. My hands were shaking because I genuinely believed I was doing something good. End of the day I went to the pawnshop and it did not take 2 seconds for them to say all the rings and watch and necklace were fake. They did not even eant to look at it. So eayh, takkivya is alive.
