Everything gets thrown out once a week so I dont want to waste a good feeder. My Mom loved birds & I've noticed a few hummingbirds when I was there. ❤ Today would be her birthday.

That's great 👍🏻 That's recycling ♻️ What do you do about the wasps and ants? Without using pesticides, of course. Do you have enough other kinds of birds 🐦 🐦⬛ 🐦 that take care of that problem? Of course, it's not a problem for the birds that eat those insects, but the wasps can harass the hummingbirds. According to Birds and Bloom where they also mention praying mantis is a problem for humming birds🐦 And cats on top of the list of a problem that is fatal for all garden birds🐦 🐦 🐦🐦
In the food industry those are PC containers (portion control). They are out there, but usually sold bybthe case you could wash out your to go or take home containers for salad dressing, dipping sauce etc.
The small microwave Campbell soup bowls have air holes and red top, perfect. Just wish u didn’t have to fill them as much, my hummingbirds are pigs, and apparently they told allllllll their buddies.

We're so exited every time they visited. They only came twice this year, i don't know why? I just keep on changing the feeders.
I did it in my diy garden. Thank you. First of all it’s an art piece now. Cuz it’s on a dry tree branch that looks like a plant and then I put it on the branches. Thank you. You’re just so innovative and creative. I wish I were as creative as you are. How do you come up with these genius ideas. I also incorporated in bed kitchen scraps container. I think my plants are growing pretty well cuz of those. Thx!!!
The wire inside the ramiken immersed in sugar water will corrode. Even without corrosion the copper and other metals in the wire will leach into the water. Better to let the wire come out to outside the ramiken and tie it there. And inspect the wire because sooner or later it will break.
